He was unable to retrieve documents from a failed hard drive and did not charge me a penny. It was kind of a last resort for me but I learned a lesson. Always have a backup plan!

As far as prices go, I have competitive rates. What you get from me in return is professional IT services. I have 10+ years experience and my best skill is troubleshooting.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I work with a new customer I see it as an opportunity to educate them on IT related issues and answer any questions they may have, even if it has nothing to do with their current issue.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had some college training but most of my knowledge comes from self teaching myself. Have have held a few certifications in the past including the CompTIA A+ certification.
