I reached out to Hammond Performance for help removing a seized tool from my caliper. While the quoted price was fair, the service didn’t meet expectations. The technician showed up about an hour late to our scheduled appointment—which I was willing to overlook—but after roughly 45 minutes of effort, he wasn’t able to remove the tool. Despite the unsuccessful outcome, I was still charged the full rate. Later, I took the car to a certified mechanic who freed the tool in under a minute using just a wrench and clamp. That contrast left me feeling like I paid for effort rather than results. I appreciate the time spent, but ultimately I didn’t get the resolution I needed. Fair pricing doesn’t always equal fair value. Update: The seller was understanding and helpful after I reached out. We discussed the issue and came to a fair resolution. I appreciate his willingness to make it right and have updated my review to 4 stars.

I had a great experience with Hammond Performance. The job I hired him to do ended up stretching out over a couple months. This was my fault but Jack was very understanding and professional in working with me on my prolonged schedule. When the parts arrived and the time came in my schedule to get started on the work, he was able to come out right away to get started. He was very knowledgeable about the job I needed him to do. When the time came to get started, he worked quickly, did everything perfectly and finished with cleaning up after himself very well. I will definitely hire Hammond Performance again in the future.
