I was having very slow internet speed form my provider,mainly form my desktop, with a wired connection. This started happening after exchanging an older, provider owned modem, for a new one, also provider owned. However, the provider insisted I would be charged $60.00 for them to come to the house, even if the problem turned out to be theirs. I called Ryan to come to my home and check my equipment. He did so, and found everything to be working properly, he even spent many minutes on the phone with a provider Tech, trying to explain things to him. The provider agreed to have a Tech come to my home within a couple of days. When the Tech arrived, it was determined the fault with the very slow internet service was on their side, with the problem somewhere down the line from my home....this seemed to solve the slow speed with wifi, but didn't solve the problem with my desktop. When the Tech came back, he exchanged the modem, and the problem seemed to be resolved with the desktop.
I'm confident that without Ryan's intervention, this would still be an issue. Ryan has a vast amount of practical knowledge, and I recommend him for computer and phone related problems.
