Introduction: Planning your wedding ceremony should be one of the best experiences in your life. However, because you only do one (or two...) in your lifetime, it can be a bit nerve-racking. Because I have served people from a wide range of backgrounds and personalities, I have gained the experience to help you navigate this extraordinary moment in your life with ease and confidence. I am an ordained minister and can officiate your rehearsal and wedding, assist with writing your vows, and provide pre-marital counseling if desired. I can also provide everything you need for your total wedding experience. Whether you are looking for a "day of" coordinator, a wedding concierge who can provide options and connections for every detail, or a wedding coordinator who will help you get "everything" done, I have the experience. Some people are hesitant to consider a man for these roles; however, I am also a dad of 3 daughters and have walked this path with their weddings. For most of today's busy couples, having the time to research all of the available options for all of the elements they want in their experience (rehearsal, ceremony, reception) is overwhelming. In my initial consultation with a couple, I help them formulate a big picture of their wedding experience and then map out the options and decisions they will need to make to create it. I can provide multiple options to consider for each element or do the research for them that will meet their expectations. As a pastor, I have walked with people through a variety of life's circumstances and events. A wedding ceremony is one of those life moments filled with joy, passion, and hope. I truly enjoy helping people celebrate this special moment by providing a reassuring presence and confident leadership for the couple and the wedding party.

Wedding Officiant

Marc was excellent to work with and I am so glad we found him to officiate our wedding!! Mark helped ease our stress of planning a wedding during Covid. He met with us on zoom multiple times and walked us through planning the ceremony from beginning to the end of the ceremony. He gave us pointers where we needed them, he was supportive, knowledgeable, and just an all around great guy!! He even emailed us after the ceremony to let us know he had mailed in our wedding license and to check in and see how we were doing. Our ceremony went fantastic, thanks to him! I would recommend him to anyone!!!

Wedding Officiant

Marc was perfect! My husband and I are not formal members of a church, and wanted someone outside of ordained family members! Marc took time to get to know us via zoom. Helped coordinate rehearsal, and organized an amazing ceremony with our inputs! My husband and I wrote our own vows. He double checked then for us, making sure it was perfect. He knew how to handle our large wedding party, which was a plus as well! Can’t express enough how happy we are with him and his work! Thanks Marc!

Wedding Officiant

Hiring Marc to officiate our ceremony was such a great decision. He met with us several times over the phone and zoom throughout the planning process. He kept us involved as he wrote our ceremony and vows, finding the perfect words to express our love for each other. He really helped the entire ceremony run smoothly, which took so much stress away from the day. He was so easy to work with and very punctual with all his responses to our questions. I absolutely recommend Marc if you're looking for an officiant!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

$300 for a typical ceremony. This includes writing the script and vows for the ceremony and officiating at the rehearsal and ceremony. $500 for premarital counseling (4-6 sessions), includes writing the script and vows for the ceremony and officiating at the rehearsal and ceremony. Wedding Coordinator roles will vary depending on the scope of what is requested. An free initial consultation will help clarify the request and then an accurate proposal can be submitted.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I typically schedule a time to meet with a couple so that we can get to know each other a little before they decide if I am right for their wedding experience and the services they need. For a Wedding Officiant, we will discuss their ceremony and their interest in premarital counseling at the initial consultation. I will ask them to think through everything we've discussed and get back to me if they want to move forward. Once they have made that decision, we can schedule the appropriate number of subsequent meetings: 1-2 if it is just to officiate the ceremony, 4-6 if they choose premarital counseling.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

BA in Biblical Studies and Ministry. 25+ years of wedding ceremony experience
