- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For some types of furniture I have formulas to develope an estimate. Most of my work is completely custom and unique so for the most part I will develope a design and then a quote for the approved design.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a brief phone or email discussion to determine what the customer is interested in. The customer is welcome to send photos that represent what they like or want. I then set up a meeting to discuss more in depth what the customer would like and where the piece will go. From here I can give the customer a good idea of how the design process will go.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in Furniture Design from Herron School of Art and Design.
