Chad from Five Star Painting of Merrillville was a true professional. He was prompt, courteous and reasonable with his quote. We had a lot to do, so he worked with me to figure out ways to manage the costs, but still get the house looking great. He followed through with regular progress updates throughout the project and personally invested his time in making sure I was satisfied with the results. You can tell Chad really wants his customers to be happy with the work. It's a quality you don't find in all contractors these days, and it was very much appreciated.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each job is different, so in order to give you the most accurate price - we need to know the full scope of the work. This means things like how much area needs to be taped off, what the actual surface area of your space that needs to be painted is (because square footage of room doesn’t equal square footage of painted area!), and the color and condition of your walls.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet and I provide a free on site painting estimate. Once the customer approves our quote, a Five Star representative Salesperson or Production Manager gets in touch with the customer to schedule the work. We walk through and make sure we’re on the same page (e.g. colors, # of coats, and the daily schedule) and identify any issues ahead of time. We check our jobs daily and make ourselves available to our customers for any issues that may arise.
At job completion, we walk around again with the customer to ensure that they are completely satisfied with the final product. At that time we request final payment. All unused paint will be left for the customer.
