FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A lot of my pricing is based on the location of the work (travel to the gig), and how long I will be at the location. My basic rate info is: $60 for events, proms, formals, makeup application, etc. $150 for bridal makeup (includes free trial) $65 for bridesmaids $400 for day rate Halloween or special effects makeup is priced per gig. (contact me for details and pricing)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I trained in Los Angeles for TV and Film makeup. I figured, if I want to be the best, I should go to one of the most in demand areas for makeup artists! It was amazing! I didn't want to leave! While I was there I met some amazingly talented makeup artists that live all over the world. I also go to work on the red carpet premiere for Zombieland. The experience helped start my career and guide me in the right direction. I earned my Pro Makeup Artist Certificate in all types of makeup. I can do special effects as well as basic and beauty makeup and even character makeup.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You get what you pay for. If you are paying someone $20 for makeup, chances are they probably will not do the best job for you. You want to be selective. You don't want to choose someone because they are cheap.
