The guys did a real nice job. No damaged furniture and they worked efficiently but quick to move me to another floor in the building. Would definitely recommend them again. Nice work!

Treated the pool table very nice. I had a crack in the base of the table and they repaired it free of charge. They disassembled and reassembled the table quickly. When the set it back up they made sure it was extremely level to my satisfaction.

I am extremely happy with my experience with Wrap and Strap Moving! They were on time, quick, and very efficient. I also had a very difficult move including many heavy items and a pool table that needed to be disassembled and re-assembled at a different location. Everything went way smoother than anticipated. I would highly recommend these guys for any moving services big or small. Also very affordable!!

This was the first time I was hiring a mover and, I thought, it does help to be upfront and honest about how much stuff I have and how many stairs so that they can accurately estimate the moving time and people. These guys are great, and well worth it. They navigated couches, tables, dressers, etc. down six flights of narrow stairs, with NO damage to our stuff or to the hallway. They also took care to avoid damage to the hardwood floors in both the old and new homes. They were quick and hard-working, and friendly. In many cases, they were jogging up the stairs when they were going to get more boxes. Now that’s what I call professional.

We contacted Supreme Moving and they provided an economical quote. They turned out to be outstanding to move us from Florida to Colorado. They kept us up to date all the way. The way they worked for us, we could not be enough happier. I was concerned for the grand piano, my father presented on my birthday. But it seemed the guys were expert enough to pack and move piano especially. All parts were intact when they delivered. They relocated our all other household items as like they moved the piano. Except a small scratch on our dining table there was no problem at all. Our staircase was not so wide in the old apartment. I can guarantee if another company would move us, they would definitely make so many scratches through the narrow stairs. I am sure to hire them again in our next move.

      Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much does it cost to restore a pool table?

Keeping your pool table in prime condition both protects your investment and makes it more fun to play. If your billiards table has been damaged by age or player misuse, experienced pool table repair pros are ready to help. The average national cost to hire a pool table specialist is $330-$400, but pricing can vary depending on how much restoration work needs to be done and the type and cost of materials you need. Depending on the type of pool table you want, the cost to buy one new can range from $1,000 to $5,000 and up, so investing in upkeep every few years makes good financial sense. Common pool table repairs include refelting the table, replacing cushions and cushion rubber that is has deteriorated or been damaged, installing new pockets or replacing damaged pockets, and fixing chips or smoothing uneven slate. You can also have wood pool tables refinished to restore them to their former luster, which may start around $600 and go up, depending on size, wood type and necessary repairs. Pool table repair pros can level an uneven table, repair broken leg mounts and address other foundational issues. Pool table repair pros can also fix coin-operated parts for commercial tables.

How much does it cost to replace pool table felt?

Owning a pool table, whether for pleasure or business, means investing in upkeep. Keeping the felt in good condition is important to ensure not only appearance but a smooth game. The national average cost to hire a pool table repair professional ranges from $330 to $400. A quality pool table is a major investment, so you want to hire a pro who is experienced and comes with glowing references. Refelting a pool table is a specialized skill calling for technical tools, competence with slate smoothing and repair, and the ability to provide a precision application of the felt that won’t hinder play.

When well cared for, pool table felt can last up to a decade; pros recommend replacing your pool table felt every three years or so, more often if you play heavily. Refelting and pool table repairs can cost more for antique and custom pool tables. Commercial pool table owners are wise to have multiple pool tables repaired at one time, as they can often get discounts for volume work.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
