We recently bought a house, and during the inspection, no major red flags were found—until the first heavy rain hit. We noticed that in one corner of the house, the paint was chipping. I personally removed a piece of drywall and saw that the plywood behind the insulation was rotten. I called several companies, but not all of them showed up—only two did. One of them was the Easyroof team. Only these guys spent a good amount of time, over an hour, analyzing the cause and checking for other damages. And this was all just to give me a quote, with no commitment on my part to hire them. :)
The hypothesis was that the plywood was completely rotten due to a leak in the roof between the garage roof and the house wall.
I’ve decided to go with Easyroof because they showed care and commitment to the job from day one. Many will have fancy tools and names, but not the commitment. I can happily say that they were right about the cause of the issue, they fixed it, and we even agreed to fix another issue (again, not detected by the inspector) within the same timeframe. Vinnie, the owner, ensured that a few more workers were brought in to complete both jobs within the same timeframe.
One of the perks of working with these folks is that they ensure they leave no mess after completing the job. Again, they checked all of my boxes — commitment, professionalism, care, and everything was done on time. :)
