Taking voice lessons with Michele for just over 8 weeks, my range has expanded and I'm gaining control. Michele is patient, encouraging and knows which exercises help me the most. Always on time & willing to give a little more. Thank you, Michele!

Al taught my husband piano for several years and voice lessons for myself. We both felt very blessed to have him as our instructor. He is very calm, patient, kind, encouraging, and teaches per the needs and style of the individual. We were thankful to have an instructor that would teach us with the type of music that we are passionate about: Christian and praise & worship. Al is extremely talented in teaching, performing, and creating music and song. He loves his work as he enjoys sharing his knowledge and talents with others.

My experience with The Music Scene is 100 times better than I could have imagined. The knowledge, patience and experience alone let me know, I selected the perfect vocal coach. I do have a little work to do with working on my new vocal range and The Music Scene's process is sure to get me to my desired end result. I'd definitely recommend The Music Scene to others needing voice lessons from beginner to professional.

This year, our daughter won first place in the Chicago Chapter National Association of Teachers of Singing (CCNATS)’ High School Division 1 Vocal Competition! At Elizabeth’s suggestion, she also auditioned for the Anima Chorus of Glen Ellyn, and sang a solo with them on WFMT’s Saturday Broadcast of Introductions. Elizabeth is truly an amazing teacher! She explains everything very well and never leaves a question unanswered. Our daughter, Brianna Dulock, has received nothing but compliments from other experienced professionals […] It is impressive how much information Elizabeth can fit into one lesson. Thank you, Elizabeth, for the high quality of your voice lessons, and for giving our daughter this amazing voice.” — Rose Figuero Dulock, Stone Park, IL

I got SO much more than I asked for connecting with Altered Stage. Not only does my membership get me access to unlimited guitar lessons with an awesome teacher, it also includes a great space with all the equipment needed, a welcoming community of likeminded and friendly recreational musicians, and the chance to play on-stage with my fellow members once/month. I went from being the guy who could play chords and learn simple songs through tabs to someone who understands music theory and feels comfortable jamming with strangers at the drop of a hat. A huge change from where I started and not at all what I expected. AS gives members the chance to get involved as little or as much as one wants. I could not recommend them more to musicians at any level.

Elaine has been giving my 13 year old son voice lessons and she is wonderful. She is helping him with sight reading and is helping him understand his range capacity. Elaine knows classic technique and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to be a polished singer. Elaine helped my son feel very comfortable performing in front of her and was able to make him see the potential he has. Elaine has a sweet nature and a good sense of humor which helped put my son at ease. Thank you so much Elaine! You have been a great help! LL

As a singer I was not breathing properly and Jill brought out the best in me. I have been able to sing much more effectively as a result of her instruction. Phrasing was always an issue because I had poor breath support and after only a few lessons I was singing like a pro.

Her lessons are fun and in the year I have worked with her my voice has improved tremendously. She pushes you and truly wants you to succeed. Linda is not only talented, but she is able to inspire my son to work harder and want to play the piano. She has so much patience and energy for working with kids. My son actually said he would only take piano lessons if he could have Ms. Linda is his teacher!

I had an amazing experience studying voice with Miss Beth Reinstein. Together we covered the basics of singing like breathing, posture and supporting my sound. She really made me feel comfortable as a student and still pushed me past what I thought I could do. Would definitely recommend her for beginners and regulars alike. Great teacher and great person.

HGS Music is amazing, has the best staff and is really fun! I always feel very welcome. I think they've even convinced me to start playing Ukulele as well!

Colte gave me, over the course of only a few piano lessons, the skills and knowledge that I needed to be satisfied with my Rock and Roll Piano abilities. I wish I could have taken them more frequently and for a longer period of time but they really were extraordinarily helpful. Not to mention Colte is a great guy and made Piano Lessons (something that I have learned to dread through my life) just about as fun as could be.

If you go to Youtube seeking "vocal technique," you will find a host of voice teachers demonstrating how to sing and develop the voice. If you can stand it, view a few. In the search bar insert VocalMechanics and compare what I have to offer on vocal technique, and you'll see why I stand out. Then view my "Selve amiche, ombrose piante," then view it by Dmitri Hvorostovsky, star of the Metropolitan Opera. If Mr. Hvorostovsky could sing (it) as well as yours truly, I wont tell you how good he could be.
