Top Rated Kitchen Cabinet Refacers Around Ashburn, VA
Walt and his guys installed a dishwasher and garbage disposal in our tiny kitchen where there had never been ones before. They did everything--cut out a space in the existing cabinet for the dishwasher, wired everything back to the electrical panel, did the plumbing, etc, and fixed a recently-discovered leak in our sink drain while they were at it! They were totally professional, did great work, and were super flexible as we were trying to get the work done as close to our move-in date as possible!
My husband and I hired Good Painter to refinish our kitchen cabinets. Andrey and his team did an excellent job and I am extremely happy with the results. Even though the previous home owners did not maintain the cabinets well (very sticky and dirty from grease), Good Painter managed to get it all off. Whenever I needed to reach Andrey, I was able to do so via text, e-mail, or phone and he was always able to take our requests. If you value quality work you should give Good Painter a try.
Henry did a fantastic job repairing a kitchen cabinet whose side was separating from the back and thus starting to come down from the wall. After fixing that though, he noticed that several others were not as secure as they should be and tightened up the remaining ones. He responded to my request on Thumbtack quickly, arrived on time, cleaned up thoroughly, and charged a very fair price. Would definitely hire him again.
Randy and his team did a great job correcting our plumbing that was incorrectly installed, replacing our sink, rebuilding the base cabinet and faucet. They were professional and on-time.
Al Barney is my hero. He has been a part of our lives for 15 years here in Leesburg. He is my "GO TO GUY". I come up with an idea and I call Al. He makes it happen. In my last home he created an amazing outdoor space with a screened in porch and deck, flowing to an amazing patio. Years later he created a front porch that made my house unique to others in the neighborhood. Now, I have an older home that needed updating. He gave me an amazing kitchen with an island and cabinets that are breathtaking. Please come see my kitchen. I am proud to say that Al Barney is my friend, my designer, my builder and my mentor. Next stop....my master bathroom.
Brandon showed up on time, was friendly and professional, and got right to work replacing our kitchen faucet. He was happy to answer questions and explain the process. I would not hesitate to contact him again for any other home repair.
I hired Antonio (Tony) Sanchez from Renaissance Restoration to complete a kitchen renovation this past fall (sorry I did not get around to completing this review sooner!). I did all the demolition, but the job included lights and electrical, plumbing repair, cabinet and counter top install, appliance install, and painting. Tony gave a very reasonable estimate and personally worked on my project with his assistant from start to finish as opposed to having one of his employees complete the job. As he began the job, he soon realized that virtually nothing from the original construction was square (townhouse was built in 1987). However, that did not phase him as he had the skills to adjust making those imperfections unnoticeable in the end. In addition, Tony has skills in most of the trades which meant that he did not have to sub different parts of the job out; he did all the electrical, plumbing and carpentry himself. The best part of my experience working with Tony was that he discussed and explained different options or ways of completing a task to ensure there were no surprises, and I was impressed with his willingness to even teach me a little along the way. He was flexible in allowing me to have a friend install the tile floor and was understanding of my need to stick to a rather tight budget. There are only two comments I could make for overall improvement: cleanliness and timeliness. On a couple of occasions, I had to discard empty food containers and drinks that had been left behind. I attributed this to oversight and could be easily improved by making an effort to clean up the work site after each day of work. Considering it was not a space I was using though, it was not that big of a deal. As for timeliness, the project took longer than expected to complete. However, I know that my involvement did have some impact on the schedule and the fact he was doing the work himself while still managing other jobs is a factor. I would not hesitate to bring Tony in for another project in the future. I am completely satisfied with his work and would recommend him to anyone.
Yosif was professional and prompt. The tile in my kitchen backsplash looks fantastic and he knew exactly what he was doing. He worked around my schedule to get the job done and he also cleaned up after himself as well so we didn't have to worry about a mess afterwards. To top it off, Yosif is very reasonably priced. I intend to use his services again for future jobs around the house. Thanks Yosif!!
I needed someone to refinish my kitchen cabinets stat and The Cabinet Guy did a wonderful job. The job was very clean, precise, and very reasonable cost-wise. I will be using him again for future projects!
Alex and company did a PHENOMENAL job installing my backsplash & kitchen floor tiles! They not only did beautiful work, they were quick (completed the job in 2 days inclusive with tile/backlash demolition), affordable & reliable. They also never missed an appointment or a follow up call; which can be hard to find in contractors today. Im truly happy with my updated kitchen and am recommending them to family & friends. Awesome job! A+
Kitchen cabinet installation Levy not only did a great job but his work ethic was top notch as well. He responded very promptly, showed up on time, had all the proper tools, listened to and performed what I was looking for, worked non stop until the job was done, and maintained a professional demeanor through out. His years of experience is shown in his work and knowledge. Overall I was very pleased with their work and would hire them again for a wide range of jobs in the future.
Bobby, from Gary's handyman service, fixed a kitchen cabinet drawer for me. He did the job quickly and it was affordable. Would use this company again.
I have worked with Winthorpe Design and Build on 2 large renovations on my home. The first was a total remodel of our outdated kitchen. A few months later we had them finish our basement into an exercise room and media room. Dave Szeliga and his men arrived daily at the time agreed upon and were easy to have around. They communicated daily on their plans and progress. During the kitchen remodel, they setup a make shift kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, and a sink to make the inconvenience more bearable. The kitchen renovation finished on time and on budget. I am very pleased with my new gourmet kitchen. The basement reno was painless and also was finished on time. Their attention to quality and detail was impeccable. I look forward to doing future business with Winthorpe Design and Build in the future.
Gil was great. He was professional. Quality work. Communicated well during the whole job. I would highly recommend him. He did some plumbing work and cabinet repair for us.
We recently had a complete kitchen remodel and are very happy with the results. We hired Dennis Gillooly of Trimline Construction as the general contractor. We were on a very tight budget and after pricing the options from a local cabinet supplier, Dennis suggested we look at using Ready to Assemble cabinets instead. He explained the various options and helped us with the design, layout, and ordering of these cabinets from an east coast supplier. This saved us more than 50% vs the original quoted cost from the local supplier! We got really nice cabinets at a fraction of the cost. Dennis put these cabinets together, installed them, helped us pick the perfect handles, installed those as well, and completed all the trim work to make the finished job look wonderful. We love our new kitchen it looks great! We also previously used Dennis Gillooly to finish our 1,200 sq foot basement. Dennis took care of managing everything including the design, framing, drywall, a full bathroom, kitchenette/bar area, a ton of storage closets including a cedar closet and custom shelving, the big recreation room, enclosed office space, new French doors, cutting in new windows in our concrete walls, and he personally installed 1,200 sq feet of engineered wood flooring throughout. We painted the basement ourselves in order to save money and found Dennis very willing to work with us to make such a large project both affordable but also exactly what we wanted.
It has truly been a positive experience from beginning to end working with Ice Mountain decorators, Brian and Joanna. Our bathroom vanities and kitchen cabinets turned out just beautiful and we couldn't be more pleased! Their attention to detail when working on additional home improvements is great. Outstanding professionalism with a personal touch that kept the job stress free. Highly recommend!
I had my kitchen remodel counter tops, sink, cabinets etc. The quality of work was great and the value was great as well.
This is the second job 5th Gen has done for us (the first was a kitchen remodel two years ago), and the experience has been excellent. These folks are craftsmen. The custom cabinets and shelves are beautiful, like a high quality piece of furniture. The individuals doing the work are very pleasant and have been careful to consult us before making any decisions about the work. This work was largely in our living room, and they cleaned up completely at the end of each day so that we could use the room in the evening. We woud hire them again in the future, and probably will. It took a while to get the job started as their schedule is full, but no different from other contractors, in our experience.
Ed was great at communicating during the process. Install went super quick! Other companies install a thin sheet of plywood on the cabinet before installing the granite, they did not. Also, didn't attach the dishwasher to anything so it tips until we get that attached.

Ted did an outstanding job at prepping and finishing a kitchen pantry for the new cabinet system I got. Despite a few early troubles at getting started, he really came through to ensure the project was done right. He's committed to making the customer happy. I would not hesitate to recommend him and would hire him again.
