My husband and I hired Floyds DJ Services for our May 13, 2017, ceremony in Woodbridge, Va. Finding a DJ had proven to be my toughest task during the wedding planning phase. . . that is, until Kacey responded to my request for information. She's pleasant, easy to work with and was always responsive. The constant threat of rain for our outdoor ceremony has us wavering on whether we'd be outdoors or move the ceremony inside. Kacey remind flexible as we didn't make the final call until just hours before the ceremony was to start. We were lucky enough to have BOTH Kacey and her husband, DJ Unknown, for our ceremony and reception. He is a GREAT hype man, and together, they read the crowd and played the right mix of old-school jams (as I requested) and current Top 40 Hits (including a ton of songs from my personal playlist suggestion). DJ Kacey even got on the dance floor to lead the crowd into a line dance and help get the party started. Their sound system was super crisp and there wasn't a single glitch! We had selected a final song to be played, and when it came time, DJ Kacey and DJ Unknown surprised us with a PHENOMENAL send off by having our guests line up in a receiving line to end the day. In a word, it was pure magic! Floyds DJ Services is a true example of exceptional quality that doesn't break the bank. I'd recommend them 10 times over! -Kevin G.

After I decided to plan a 70th birthday party for my father, I knew I wanted something different other than just a few guests at home. After speaking with the owner of ALD, April, about what I was looking for and what my budget was, she immediately started helping me brainstorm options for locations and vendors to take care of everything from cupcake orders to banners. She even went to visit the restaurant, see the room, and speak to the restaurant event planner before I could make it over to the location. April is super organized and has timelines and deadlines for each step in planning the event and she always returned my calls and emails in a timely manner. When the day of the event arrived she had all of the materials as discussed and decorated the dining room with a beautiful black and gold theme. She provided everything from chair covers and table linens to balloons. Everything went as planned and she stayed around to make sure everything was on track. I'm so glad that I worked with ALD! They created a memorable and unforgettable event.

I brought We Plan - You Party into my wedding planning towards the end for decorating our space. What I wanted was an extra touch to make my wedding feel like me. They did a great job with the decorating. The communication could have been improved, but overall I am very happy with the job they did.

Our day would not have been the same without Mary. She deserves way more than 5 stars! Leading up to the event she answered all of my wedding planning questions and offered to do anything she could to help. She also communicated with my mother and mother-in-law who were helping me plan. She had great ideas and made sure we thought about the little details we missed. After every conversation, I was less stressed and more excited! Before the event, she met with us to go over details, sent out a schedule, and was there for our rehearsal. A few days before the wedding, she reached out to all of our vendors to introduce herself. I didn't have to worry about a thing on the wedding day. My family and bridesmaids could also relax. Mary is priceless. If you're questioning whether you should have a day-of coordinator the answer is YES. If you're having trouble deciding who, the answer is MARY. She was so sweet to work with and we loved her we-can-make-that-happen attitude. I can't thank her enough for making our wedding day dreams come true :)

Angie did a great job assisting me with planning my wedding and an exceptional job coordinating the event, on the day of. She provided lots of inputs toward the planning, coordinated my wedding rehearsal, introduced me to some very talented and reasonably priced vendors (seamstress and florist) who both did an excellent job with my wedding dress alterations and my wedding flowers. Angie also did all my wedding event decorations which looked so spectacular; my guests are still giving me compliments about them till this day. Angie was heaven sent... and I had a blast working with her. Thank you, Angie :)

I needed help pulling all the details for my wedding together and Little Black Book Events was the glue to pulling everything together! Vanessa helped organize all the vendors, the timeline, the coordination, and more. I couldn't have had such a well planned wedding without Little Black Book Events. We can not express into words the phenomenon job that Extravagant Affairs did for our wedding on 11/05/2016. From the time that we chose them to handle our catering needs to the very end of our special day, their team handled every detail with the highest level of class and commitment. Arielle. Was. Amazing. She was recommended to me by a friend and I’m so grateful for that referral. I kind of thought I could pull off our surprise wedding by myself before I met her, but boy was I wrong. Arielle made everything go perfectly and thought of so many questions I never would have thought to ask. She was there when I had vendor issues, she helped me plan my timeline perfectly, and she made the day run so smoothly. I’m sure she did so much that I don’t even know about. My husband and I are SUPER EXCITED with the outcome and very careful planning of our 10 year "Vow Renewal"!! Planned by Shauna Robinson of 'Brides-to- be Wedding's. Mrs. Robinson came to our home and explained 'exactly' what "Brides to-be'- does', she was also concerned with what our expectation's were for our wedding. We were so impressed with her kindness, her elegance, her organization skills and her ability to take the stress of planning off of my plate! She saved me so much stress!!! Our wedding was Simply Amazing thanks to Shauna! She stayed in contact with all of my vendors, the venue coordinator and anyone else involved in my wedding! Omg! Seye was really amazing. I was really stressing especially up to the day and she really helped me relieve a lot of stress. When I was freaking out she would just say “it’s fine I’ll handle it” or “I got it don’t worry” and I would be looking like are you crazy! Lol I have so much to do. She really held it down though I must admit. I hired her as a DOC but from day one she working and helping me out to the very end. She was always in touch with me and I was always able to reach her.​ My wedding day was nothing short of magical and people are still raving about it and Seye. Everyone was like who was that she was on top of everything! If you are second guessing on hiring Seye don’t! Hire her and I swear you will not regret it. She is worth every single penny and more. If I ever do anything again I will hire her and I highly recommend her to any and everybody. I miss her already and if I could I would go back and do my wedding over again. Thank you Seye.

Sarah and her sister Alli are awesome. I was bery nervous planning my wedding because I’m a very organized person and I knew I couldn’t be the morning before the wedding organizing everything. I hired Sarah for the day of the wedding coordination and from the moment I met her I felt in love. She made everything come together, made a timeline and also made sure all my vendors had all the information. Honestly i was very happy I found them!
