Being I live in another state and was choosing a moving company to deliver my furniture from North Carolina to Florida... it was luck of the draw and lots of research and quotes. I chose Ken and K&K Moving and could not have been happier! Let's just say, he arrived exactly when he said he would. He packed up all my belongings and wrapped and protected my furniture. His company arrived exactly when they said they would. It was Ken and one of his employees. They were beyond professional, courteous, kind, and even called me Miss Dianne... let's just say we in South Florida are not used to Southern Hospitality and manners and it was a nice change and pleasant surprise. They unpacked our furniture and boxes, set everything up we wanted set up and put the heavy items where we wanted them. Nothing was scratched, broken or dinged. Everything arrived. No surprises with missing boxes or belongings. They did everything in a very timely manner. I gave them a tip because they surely deserved it! I suggest everyone who is even contemplating a move - either local or long distance as mine was... to trust in my referral and you will be happy you did. I never knew Ken before I called him to get a quote. I know my property manager and cleaning company owner in NC will use his services as she was also looking for a good, trustworthy mover she could recommend to her clients and now she's got one in K&K Moving. As you can see I'm gushing over them because they deserve it. Also.. the quote Ken gave me... is the final price I paid. If any issues came up he told me not to worry, he'd take care of them. He even offered to put my furniture in storage at his expense if needed, but luckily, we didn't. He is a very motivated entrepreneur whose main goal is to get more business via word of mouth from satisfied customers and I've got a big mouth! If I had any issues with this company at all I would be shouting it from the rooftops. But all I can shout is PRAISE! For a top notch moving company who takes his job and his reputation very seriously, and it shows! I recommend Ken and his company K&K Moving 100%. I only wish he was located in Florida so I could recommend him down here! Thank you so much for a job well done. I couldn't be more pleased and thankful for a stress free smooth move. My unbroken mirrors, unscratched furniture, all items accounted for delivered on time... and most of all I.... THANK YOU FOR A JOB WELL DONE! In closing, I encourage anyone who finds my referral helpful and hire Ken and K&K Moving to give he and his employees a tip for a job well done if you feel the same as I after your move is completed. They are very reasonable in price compared to the other 10 quotes I got. No added on anything to the price quoted. For their determination and effort and keeping their word - what they promise is sent in writing and it is adhered to. Called ahead to confirm, was exactly on time, and even though I was way off on my packing and time, they stayed and completed the job. All with smiles, and very professional. Of note, if you are planning on furniture, be sure to have packing material for them, or pre-wrap your items (it takes time away from moving if they have to stop to wrap etc). Cost was very reasonable, and was able to cram my massive house into a 26' Penske to move from Charlotte to Salt Lake City, UT.

Kenneth was very easy to work with, provided a quick quote, and scheduled the move to my specifications. K&K Moving packed all of our stuff for my 1800 sq. ft. home and delivered it the next day in Chicago (from Charlotte) with everything well-packed and intact.

This week Kenneth help me out with a Long Distance move from Charlotte to Harrisburg, Pa. I had to to move quickly and K&K movers accommodated my needs. Kenneth came by my house, estimated what i was going to be moving and sent me a quote and his availability. We settled on moving Monday 6/22/15. I have a 3 bedroom house with a decent amount of stuff needing to be moved, no appliances however. Kenneth showed up with another with his assistant. Banged out the move quickly. They were both courteous and had no complaints. I had everything pretty much boxed up already, but they wrapped up all of my furniture nicely... I had a dining room table with glass inserts and a glass desk in my office. He broke down everything and wrapped it up nicely so it didn't get damaged. The next day 6/23/15 Kenneth delivered my stuff at its destination in Harrisburg Pa. I was unable to meet him there, but my girlfriend and her aunt were there to show him where to unpack the stuff. They raved about how nice Kenneth and his assistants were and fast! They assembled and placed everything where they wanted. My girl called a little after an hour of them being there and said he was done! I paid him using Paypal while i was still in Charlotte. Great service Kenneth and I appreciated your help! I'll see you All Star weekend in Charlotte! (hopefully :))

I always educate myself and employees on things we can do to improve the company to help make us one of the best moving companies in the Charlotte area.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted to go into business but didn't know what I wanted to do. Actually visited a friend of mine in Atlanta, Ga and he was an owner of a moving company. He is very successful at which gave me motivation to start one.
What types of customers have you worked with?
