Ah, where do I begin? Joe is absolutely one of the best writers I have ever worked with. Period. When we worked together (mostly at the late, great Gardner Advertising, among others), we often wore each other‘s hats. By that I mean that Joe is extremely visual in his thinking, and very open to copy ideas from the design person. It was not uncommon for him to come up with the visual idea and for me to supply the headline. We both loved this arrangement, and I think we were all the better for it. In past years I have really missed working with Joe, but I still hold out hope that we will work together again. Needless to say, I think he is one of the best and most fertile minds I have known, and I miss those days beyond words.     In the short time I've known Lisa she has been a wonderful partner on several important projects. As a presenter at our Writers Conference, she had her eye on our webpage and noticed when our keynote cancelled. Upon learning who the new keynote would be, she expressed enthusiasm and jumped into the entire conference to help make it an outstanding event. She rose to every challenge I presented her and appreciated those opportunities. She's just excited about what she does. My contact with Steve was through LifeFlight Eagle (LFE) and also the Missouri Emergency Medical Services Association (MEMSA).           • Hourly rate for grant writers with less experience or fewer grants awarded: $25-$35 per hour.
