FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! I take still take lessons from great teachers. When I have time I will travel to Nashville and take lessons with some of the worlds best drummers there. I also take lessons of the Internet from some of the best teachers in the world.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Teaching beginner and intermediate drummers how to play the drum set. My goal is to show a student how to make a career out of drumming and that starts with having great time and having a great ability to listen to what's going on around you while you're playing. Consequently my lessons revolve a lot around play along tracks because playing with recorded material helps foster both those qualities in a drummer.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Is your child coming out of the lessons smiling? I think the best way for a student to learn is by having fun doing it. There's lots of teachers who are more drill Sergent than mentor. And sure, kids will learn with that kind of instruction but they wont learn to love what they do. If they love the drums, then they'll play the drums their whole life.
