FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! It would be really easy to be left behind in this field. The chemicals and techniques are changing every month it seems. The way we stay current is by learning as much as possible from chemical sales rep's and reading up on new products. On top of that, we are constantly training our techs to use the most effective techniques. Much of the new ways of cleaning is far superior to the previous methods, but as always, nothing replaces hard work, and time tested techniques.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Back in the mid 90's I was doing a lot of carpentry and needed something else to satisfy my A.D.D. :) I started stripping and waxing Burlington Coat Factory stores, Osco drug stores and TJ Maxx stores. Back then maintaining those floors paid a lot of money, and seemed to be a good business to start, so that was when we really got started back in 96'. Since then, the economy has made several changes, and certain services became under paid, or obsolete. We have made changes in our focus accordingly.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Primarily we do office janitorial and carpet cleaning. We started doing only commercial properties, but we now have been doing residential for several years. We also do a lot of floor care (strip and waxes). We have done everything from grocery stores, drug stores, residences, vinyl tile, concrete, and brick. We also do regular janitorial for a lot of local office buildings, hair salons, restaurants, etc. Those are our most common jobs
