- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a custom appraisal pricing system: for each of our three main services: song/advertisement recording, mixing, and mastering, our clients choose to pay by the hour or by the song. Other services not listed on our website (discussed earlier in these sections of questions) like recording of live sound event for convention and guitar lessons are priced differently; please reach out for more details *Please note that when coming to our studio facility we offer payments in cash or check (and can walk you through setting up a PayPal if you would prefer to use credit card). For online mastering services we offer Paypal and option to pay by credit card, Western Union, Diner's Club, and so on.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Oh yes. Mixnaster stays up to date with all of the latest music equipment technology through a monthly magazine that we receive. The studio has a membership with the SPARS and AES music organizations and attend local and national events often.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Mixnaster is truly about passion. The founder is passionate about music. He couldn't play drums around the world because of his physical disability, so he decided to attempt to become a music producer. The rest is sweet history and thus Mixnaster was born out of passion and love for rock, metal, blues, and other styles of music.
