- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes I do but it really depends on what the customer is expecting. More detail equals more time which comes at a higher cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially I call them and set up a time to come bid the job. Upon arrival, I introduce myself and proceed to measure and discuss the job. After completing the measure I give a verbal estimate (can email an estimate as well). I discuss what the homeowner will need to provide and what I provide. Then we set up a time for me to install.
