Chris is very responsive and true to his words. We got a fair and reasonable bid to finish our basement. The quality of work is excellent. Express Remodeling, Inc is highly recommended for any construction/remodeling project. We would definitely use them again in the future.

I had a poor experience with a previous contractor before I met Neil. Neil gave me a great price and had a professional crew to get my house ready to be sold. As of today I sold my house for much more over asking. I am a real estate investor and I will use Neil again on many other projects. Drywall, flooring, painting, and finish work. 10/10

My existing closet organizer system completely collapsed one day, so I had Neil out to fabricate and install a new set of shelves and hanger rods. Neil was fast to respond to my inquiry, and sent an initial estimate based on the photos I provided. Within the next few days, we scheduled a time for him to come out and put eyes on the project. I'm not the best at translating my visualized ideas into spoken word, but Neil interpreted well enough and revised his initial bid accordingly. Neil's bid did come in about 30% higher than other contractors, but his responsiveness and attentive communication ultimately won him the project. After starting construction, Neil was patient with me when I attempted to clarify or provide more insight on my vision for the final outcome. He also brought up a few improvements towards the middle of the project that would result in a better finished product - which I agreed to and thought I was charged fairly for.

Nothing "Express" about this company.. my basement job was quoted at 4 days and it took 3 weeks before I told them that I was done with them and not to come back. My job was simple... All I needed was a little framing.. drywall.. mud and tape. I would take care of the paint. Space is about 620 square feet. Mainly worked with Chris Angle, Neil Melton, and their subs. First.. there is zero communication at this company from the top down and it starts with the owner Neil. Second.. this "company" does lazy and trash work.. they really sheetrocked over my HVAC register as well as my drain cleanout.. I had to point it out to them.. Neil (the owners) many responses back was "we shouldn't really be doing jobs this small", and "Our guys are spread pretty thin right now". NOT MY PROBLEM BRO!! Last.. probably my biggest pet peeve.. communication.. guys say they are gonna be coming over to work on the basement and then nobody ever shows.. no call/no show.. happened multiple times! Anyway... Buyer beware.

There were a couple of easy fixes we wanted to address, but the customer chose to withhold money instead. The overall quality of the work was very good. While we do plenty of drywall, we’re better suited at this point for larger jobs where drywall is just one of multiple components. We are no longer pursuing stand alone drywall jobs of this nature.
