Introduction: Welcome, students and parents! As a longtime teacher and educational psychologist (learning theorist), I've taught and tutored math, reading, writing, statistics (graduate level), and social science across five decades, working with students from every grade from second up to the doctoral level. We now know the pandemic set many learners back one to two years, with the most recent National Grade Card reporting that reading scores are down nearly 10 points, and nearly 40% of students aren’t able to do math at grade level. It’s high time to stop making excuses and instead, start finding solutions. My academic training has continued up to recent years. During my life, I've worked with thousands of individuals with a very wide range of learning and mental health challenges as well as students working well above grade level. That experience, coupled with decades of training as a learning theorist, enables me to provide an approach tailored to the strengths and needs of each student. I focus on mathematics, reading, writing, and statistics and use a wide variety of online materials I subscribe to, including practice materials that I create in real time and email to students. My mission in life has been, and continues to be, to help students of all ages and backgrounds gain the confidence they need to achieve at their highest levels. I would be honored to collaborate with you!

Mr. Morgan is a great math tutor! He knows how to teach math in a way my 8th grade daughter understands. He is very patient with her and very responsive to my messages and keeps me updated on her progress . She credits him for helping her maintain her "A" grade in math. We are very happy with Mr. Morgan, so much so that we have recommended him to my kid's friends too (who are now his students).

I'm very lucky to have found Todd! Originally I had reached out to a few tutors but did not get a quick response back. Once Todd reached out to me I immediately knew I wanted him to tutor me based on his knowledge of statistics. Todd was very patient knowing math was my weakest subject but he would take his time and not rush me through assignments. I would recommend Todd 100% if you serious about learning statistics or any other subject. He is professional and knowledgeable in all fields and I will definitely use him again when I start my classes back up. Thank you, Todd!!!

I started working with Mr. Todd when I was preparing to take the GRE as a part of my PhD applications. I worked with him for about 3 months and he was amazing! When I started, my practice scores for the GRE were a 149 for Quantitative reasoning, a 146 for Verbal, and a 3 for Analytical writing. A lot of my work with him was just getting exposure to the types of questions on the GRE since I hadn't taken traditional English or Math classes in about 4-6 years. He had lots of materials and sent me personal practice problems/tests. I met with him once per week and after the first two weeks, I was already seeing improvement with my accuracy and efficiency in answering questions. Mr. Todd had lots of tricks to help me remember English and Math problems which was really helpful. He is also very personal, passionate, and knowledgeable about what he does and working with him was amazing. His rates are very affordable compared to other tutors. As a current student, I knew I needed to find someone to help me with the GRE, but I couldn't spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on prep books, practice tests, and tutors. I attended virtual tutoring with him until I took the GRE and improved my scores to a 155 in Verbal, a 152 in Quantitative, and a 4 in Analytical writing. I would highly recommend Mr. Todd to anyone who is looking for a tutor for Math, English, Writing, or ACT/SAT/GRE test preparation/improvement.

Absolute great experience working with Mr. Todd. My daughter's understanding of Algebra and overall grades improved immensely with our continued weekly sessions. Always professional on time and very knowledgeable with reasonable/affordable rates compared to several other options. Couldn't have found a better tutor. Very appreciative and time well spent LITERALLY! 2 thumbs up.

Todd is an amazing tutor, from all perspectives. He makes learning math fun and engaging! He worked with my daughter to prepare her for our state wide test to determine her ability to place into AP/honors math classes as a freshman in HS. Todd isn't from or in IL but he took the time to look up the test to ensure he was preparing her in the best way possible. She is a sophomore now and on track to finish Calc while in HS! THANK YOU TODD!!
