My husband and I saw Rose for marriage counseling. She made us feel comfortable expressing ourselves in a neutral environment. Rose was very good at offering suggestions and solutions we could both agree on. My husband and I are already seeing a positive change in our relationship after just a few sessions! I would highly recommend Rose if you are seeking help in your relationship!
Cheryl is great! Very professional and experienced. My wife and I came to her in a difficult time in our marriage. Cheryl gave us the tools and direction to navigate through our issues and we are now on a path to a stronger more loving marriage. I know the lessons we learned in counseling with Cheryl will stick with us for the rest of our lives.
My name is Dawn, and I am an independently licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I can attest to the quality of Anne's graduate work both clinically and academically as we pursued this degree as cohorts in the same graduating class, and served together in the same clinical internship setting. Anne has had excellent training, and is competent in her understanding and use of multiple therapeutic modalities. She has a balanced approach to her work, well utilizing both empathy and counsel. She has a fun and engaging personality with a wit that promotes easy delivery of information even in challenging circumstances. She is competent with a wide range of clients from adolecence to late adulthood and collaborates with her clients to assist with a broad spectrum of life's needs and challenges. I have also known Anne as a personal friend and have seen how she has endured through many difficult life circumstances with strength and perseverance. I have seen the quality and strong ethic of her work. I have also seen her compassionate and engaging personality promote her to high levels of recognition in other work environments and fields of interest. All of this said, I would give Anne a strong recommendation. Her knowledge and skills will serve you well! Dawn G., MS, IMFT Counselor, Marriage & Family Therapist
I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to LaTasha. She did a phenomenal job so that I could simply relax and enjoy my evening with my husband and all of our friends and family! She did all of the set up and take down all while still making sure everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be there without missing a beat. If someone had a problem she had a solution without hesitation. She was prepared for anything thrown at her. I simply just got to be a bride and enjoy my special day. If you are looking for a DOC, LaTasha is definitely the girl for the job! ❤️
Doris has really helped my husband and I strengthen our marriage. She pegged our personalities immediately so we were able to dive right into our issues and work on what really matters. Doris isn't afraid to speak the truth, even if it hurts. That is incredibly important in a counseling relationship. We would recommend her to anyone.
Angela is working with us with couples counseling as well as personal counseling. Angela we feel is very professional. She got to work immediately in the first visit. She took time to find out about us and our spirituality and religion then showed us how to use it to our benefit. She made us feel very comfortable and relaxed right from the start. We are so happy we've found her. I recommend her highly.
Andrea was great. We had her for premarital counseling. Had lots of homework assignments that started conversations that were good to have before getting married. Overall a great investment into our marriage.
Rachael is a wonderful therapist. Very knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate. Dedicated to her clients and her work as a therapist.
I needed someone to talk to that day as I was going through a marriage crisis. Micaela was available right away and really helped me. I was on the brink of crumbling and she helped me out of that. I would recommend her to anyone!
My husband and I started marriage counseling with Becky to address a few contentious areas we could not seem to work through on our own. We met individually at first so she had a chance to get a perspective from each of us in a confidential setting. Then after a few sessions, we did joint sessions. At first, the progress felt slow, because Becky was getting all the necessary foundational background in place. Once the underlying problems were identified and acknowledged, we were able to specially find and apply tactics to move beyond our issues. It was well worth it to stick it out, and We are so appreciative of the way she helped us get our marriage back to a much better place of a mutual partnership. She was flexible to work with in scheduling our appointments, and I truly felt she cared about us and our success.
Doug is that rare bird in counseling: He has tools from two skill sets: Biblical knowledge/application wedded to an understanding of how and why we psychologically/sociologically communicate. Both skill sets are necessary for successful couples counseling. Understanding the "why" and "how" when two people in a marriage aren't doing well is vital. Then, showing the solution so they aren't left hopeless is even more vital. Going to the place where the "us" is strengthened is much better than a continual win/lose proposition when a couple have divergent views. Doug explains all this and handles confrontation, hurt feelings, etc. well and delves into the unstated/unsaid under the surface anger/frustration. We'd recommend him to anyone interested in helping their marriage.
Vivian was great! My husband and I attended several of her marriage counseling classes and Vivian was compassionate and made us feel she understood our concerns and addressed them in a way that didn't make us feel like she was judging us. She gave great tips to make our marriage better and we're very greatful to her for it.
Edgar was a co-officiate at our wedding, November 12th, 2005. The ceremony was held in St Pauls Methodist Church in Houston, Texas. My husband, John, and I both knew Edgar and we asked that he be a part in our ceremony. We admired his caring approach with people, the knowledge and wisdom he brings to his professional work counseling people, and his faith. He attended our rehearsal dinner and took time to meet and know each of our families. At the wedding ceremony itself Edgar spoke about marriage. Using themes accessible to everyone, he made our ceremony very personal, a gift to us and our family and friends on our wedding day. We still remember and talk about the words he shared that day. He spoke eloquently about the importance of each of us as individuals, and the importance of our shared bond together. He also used the idea of a garden as a metaphor for marriage. He told us that through the years we would need to tend to our marriage, till under the old and use it as food for the future to grow together as a couple. Edgars presence gave us a warm feeling, and his words will stay with us for a lifetime.
I found Marchita to be a caring and understanding therapist. She listened to both me and my wife without judging us. Her techniques encouraged us to participate willingly. I would encourage any couple who is serious about their relationship and making it enjoyable, communicative and Loving again should see Marchita. Marchita is not afraid to deal with the complex issues of marriage or relationships.I like how she use real life to help me understand psychological behaviors and how to address and resolve issues.
Michael has been a huge blessing to our family. Our daughter and now son-in-law went to Michael for premarital counseling which is sort of like a car inspection for marriage. After hearing about all the wise and insightful things that Michael had to share with them, we knew that he was the person we wanted to go to for the problems we were having with our much older model. It had been making noises for years and the check engine light was flashing red. We met with Michael several times and were both impressed with how he was able to cut to cut through to the heart of our issues and show us how to work on fixing what was broken. We can't recommend Michael enough!
It's an honor to be able to do this small thing for Rachel Asbury as a thank you for all that she has done for me. She has been my guide, anchor and counselor through some of the roughest times of my life. She is intuitive, compassionate, understanding and professional with me and has helped me to trust, and understand how to proceed through the murky waters that are my life. I feel that I am stronger and more able to move forward. It takes courage but she has assisted me in finding my own strengths and has been my support on the road towards mental health and a more productive life in both work and with my family. I will survive and she has been my guide to understanding how to do just that.
William Cobb is a dedicated counselor. My husband and I went to him for pre-martial counseling. We were not sure of what to expect but William seemed genuinely interested in our emotional and spiritual growth. He was very helpful, thoughtful, asked critical questions and listened carefully to our answers. William will help you get down to the bottom of whatever problems you are facing and improve your understanding of yourself and your partner. He is highly professional, flexible and accommodating. I am very grateful for the pre-marital counseling that we received and would recommend him without question.

Brenda Shriner tops the list of skilled and effective counselors Ive had the pleasure of working with. Brendas breadth of knowledge and many years of experience combined with her keen instincts give her a therapeutic edge, whether counseling for relationship issues or workplace challenges. I would recommend her to my own family.
