About
We are a small group of professional musicians dedicated to making your event feel just right. For over 16 years, we’ve tailored every performance to our clients’ needs — from how we dress, to volume levels, to the styles of music you and your guests enjoy most.
Our repertoire can range from jazz with a hint of blues to a smidgen of country and top 40 rock. We can keep the dance floor full with our more upbeat selections, or create an elegant atmosphere with smooth jazz for dinners, mingling, and conversation.
You can count on us to be professional at all times — during setup, intermission, and on stage. We don’t use vulgar language or perform offensive material. When your guests are relaxed, smiling, and having a great time, we know we’ve done our job.
Tell us about your event, and we’ll customize the perfect soundtrack for it.

Bill and the Odyssey band were great to work with! Bill was very responsive to emails and phone calls. Communication was clear and easy from start to finish. The band also went above and beyond to not only wear attire to match the theme of our party, but also learned new German themed songs to play as it was an Oktoberfest party. We did not ask them to do either. Top notch service from a great group of musicians. We will definitely be asking Odyssey band back for performances at Wichita Country Club! THANK YOU!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The band can play as a duo, keys/bass & drums, up to 7 pieces which would include 3 horn players. This allows me to tailor the band to the budget and needs of the client. The other consideration in our pricing is travel expense depending on how far outside our home base of Wichita and if overnight accommodations would be needed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first want to make sure we are a good fit for the event. I try to make sure the client knows what they can expect from the band in the way of music selections, styles, and other issues that might be pertinent to the event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every member of the band has had formal training and studied music at Wichita State University. We will even have players from Friends University and Wichita State University faculty in the band on some of our engagements.
