I hired this individual to complete my basement up to city code. He came out gave me a quote. I paid him and he said it would be done next day. Then asked for 350 more because he forgot ark fault breaker. Now still not done a month later and never received inspection. Worst 1300 I ever spent. Am in the process of taking this man to court.
Midwest Electric's reply
Completed all work that was on original bid in only two days went over to add only one outlet and fix or move switch to find out that it was actually a whole basement rough in and trim out as well as a ceiling fan as well two bedrooms hall way and bath as well as adding recep to utility room and panel work in only two that's great timing!!! As well as I was there the very next day after he called!!!!!! Gave this guy a great price for what he wanted completed all work that he paid for!!! Then I let him that we would have to install tamper resistant recep to pass code which is something new that, they just really started to in force and they were a little more costly he refused to pay to have them installed I very kindly let him know that if he did not want to install them I could not call in his inspection because it would not pass at that time I even offered to give his money and told him he could hire someone else I am a professional and don't like when things turn out this way but sometimes people just don't understand that I only way I do things is the right Way and if there not willing to comply with nec standers than there not much I can do.
