I started learning new things from the first lesson. Randy is very knowledgeable and professional. He's patient, but challenges me to learn more about chords and the structure of the music behind them. He customizes my lessons to the kind of music I enjoy.

We haven't started lessons yet; but the instructor was very prompt in correspondence and helpful in procuring a proper instrument.

Accent studio provided excellent lessons for my two boys, ages 12 and 14. They were motivated to practice and we saw improvement very quickly. A very good experience.

Three of my children have studied under Mrs. Toews since 2004. She started with my older son in 8th grade, and the two younger children started when they were in 1st or 2nd grade. She stresses good habits and techniques early on, so her students have a good foundation to build on. She has high expectations for her students, and is very encouraging to help them meet them. She is strict about practicing, but she also rewards the students for practicing well. She has regular recitals, as well as group lessons, and she has her students participate in local competitions as they are able. My youngest is going into 11th grade. She has progressed extremely well under Deborah's training. It has been a joy to have my children in her studio. Her studio is in a separate room in her home, and she does not take calls or do other things during lessons. She has always been punctual. My husband and I feel we have made a very wise investment by having her for our children's piano teacher.

Lane teaches me bass lessons. At first I only knew how to play orchestra music. Now I am also learning jazz, blues, and bluegrass music. I look forward to my lessons. He is nice and makes it fun.

Amber is the best vocal teacher I can ask for! Every time I see her it's like a music therapy session because we are in a room sharing our love of music! She has a way of creating a serene and supportive environment for me to express my voice in the songs I choose, yet providing constructive advice to how I can improve each time. She posts notes from the previous lesson on the Reverb lessons site so I can go back to them when I practice at home. She truly cares about each student and their progress whether as a singer or a music enthusiast! Also a shoutout to Reverb lessons site for providing helpful tools including easy lesson rebooking options and occasional discounts! This site has made the whole process pleasant!

I Love teaching with PERSONALIZATION! In PIANO lessons my goal is to teach students how to improvise music they love, not just to play notes, but to play the music. More brain cells are used and they can play songs they love years later and not just Fur Elise (not that there's anything wrong with that song)! ART lessons help students unlock keys of understanding how to draw what they see. The rest is learning how to handle materials. My goal is to hear students express themselves fluidly on the keyboard or to see smiles of accomplishment as a student shows me artwork that represents exactly what they were trying to get across to the viewer. When this happens - what a payback!

Ear training and having fun with the guitar will get you light years ahead and playing with the band.

About

I provide music lessons that combine piano and guitar. Typically, the primary focus is on guitar, but using the piano as an illustration helps the students grasp musical concepts faster.

I enjoy working with people, period. What gets me the most excited about my job is that I get to see people learn, and grow as individuals, and that is a high note in my book. I have been teaching privately since 2011 on Piano, Percussion/Drums, and Vocal Coaching, and doing live-sound work since 2016 in college and at church. My business philosophy is customer first. I do my best to make sure my students are having fun while they are learning. There's no point in learning if you can't enjoy it.
