I have taken lessons from Charles for only a couple of months and only stopped due to a grueling work schedule at present. I cannot recommend Charles highly enough. Very personable and knowledgeable. I was somewhat focused on the blues and Charles was most accommodating. He is adept at many other styles as well. If you are looking for a patient teacher that can work with you at your pace while answering all your questions about proper form, technique, posture and more; Charles would be an excellent choice.

What impressed us was that he even learned a couple Spanish Songs for the Wife’s Family That was here from Monterey Mexico.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$30 per lesson, depending on area in Wichita. Lessons are one hour. I travel to you!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I work with students to learn chords, play songs, scales to play lead, ear training, strumming and picking techniques, and helping you learn to play the kind of music you like!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Studied music at Berklee College of Music and the University of North Texas. I have been a full-time musician for the past 8 years, playing more than 2558 paid music events at more than a hundred different venues. I play blues, country, jazz, Motown, gospel, and Contemporary Christian. I play and teach bass, lead , or rhythm guitar, voice coaching, ukelele and I can help you with songwriting.
