- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The standard pricing for performing the wedding is $80. If I am needed at the rehearsal then there is an additional $40 charge. If travel time is more than 30 minutes by car then the basic price is $100 for the wedding and $60 if needed at the rehearsal traveling the same distance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I receive an email from the client after being hired through Thumbtack. I also receive calls to discuss what the couple wants for their ceremony. Sometimes this leads to a face-to-face meeting to discuss the specifics of the ceremony. I have taken handwritten ceremonies and types them out and placed in an order that made the ceremony flow well.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing this type of work because of the need of a friend. Being a part of this special occasion in the life of the couple is very special for me. I appreciate being selected to celebrate this special occasion.
