I provide custom quilting and design. My Mom taught me how to quilt when I was young. When I retired and had lots of "free time," I started quilting again. I have made t-shirt memory quilts and many cat beds!! I would love to create a piece of quilt art for you. My family and loved ones have too many of my creations!!! I do all the sewing at my home. I would prefer you purchase your fabric, (to ensure you are happy with color and pattern) but if you are flexible, I am happy to shop for you, we will choose fabric you love. You ship your fabric, t-shirts or premade memory squares to me. I create, assemble and sew the quilt top. I sew batting and back to make a quilt sandwich. I do not do long arm finishing. I have a long arm quilter who will finish the top quilting, or I can hand tie your quilt. It's your decision and is included in my pricing. Long arm quilting runs about .03 cents per square inch. A twin quilt 6' x 7.5' would be about $200. Her schedule can be busy so additional time should be factored in. I will then bind the quilt and ship it completed to you! I am an excellent communicator and update my clients on the progress frequently. If I don't feel I can complete your request beautifully and within your time frame, I will not accept the job. I do like to remind clients handmade quilts take time. I work on one project, at a time, so the start time of your project may be longer than expected. The project I'm working on deserves my full attention. Start to finish usually requires 3-4 weeks. Lots to discuss and so much fun! ChristinaSee more
