He did a wonderful job on my bathroom. Was reasonable and did it in a timely manner. Will be using him again on future projects. Took a major weight off our shoulders by helping us getting our bathroom the way we dreamed. It was amazing seeing how what we wanted come to life. Thank you so much diy doctors!!

Michael wasn’t my first choice initially due to the amount of time I had to wait for him to become available. He had a very convincing pitch and the quality of his work in his photos showed he worked with passion. After my first selection kept adding things I felt weren’t necessary to complete my bathroom remodel I was kind of stuck. Michael reached back out to me letting me know he had a client who had a death in the family and changed their mind about moving forward with their project and this made him available! I’m a believer in things having for a reason, and once he completed our bathroom, I couldn’t have been more satisfied, I knew We had selected the right person.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing comes from an online website homewyse.com. This website uses the ZIP Code that I’m in and a description of the job title to put together a high and low cost. I won’t create a scenario that causes my client to feel like I’m overcharging. I will often screen shot the exact numbers homewyse.com gives me so there is no confusion.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Be patient. Be kind. I understand the fact that they might not understand contracting or construction systems and processes as easily as I do. Use all of my education and training to help my client understand that I understand what their expectations are. The accountable, show up on time, clean up work area at the end of the day. Make sure to deliver exactly what the client is requesting.
