Responds quickly: sent inquiry on Thumbtack on a Wednesday night, got on-site quote Thursday morning, work completed that Saturday. Very quick turnaround.

Very punctual: showed up on-time/early on both occasions.

Somewhat expensive: price seemed a bit high, but decided to move forward. Asked for a quote on another project, but way too expensive and out of budget.

Slight Miscommunication: language barrier led to slight miscommunication on mulch color (brown vs black) and expectations for river rock (colors don’t match). Was told a 4” edge would be dug around main mulch bed, but does not appear to be such.

Overall: happy with the finished product. Next time, will need to write out scope of work in detail prior to work beginning. Gave 50% deposit upfront after verbal agreement on scope of work. Asked for it in writing and received text message afterwards. A few details missed and slight difference in expectation vs final product. Also wished they would take card payment via Thumbtack. Would be safer and more convenient for the customer.
