I will never use this company again for anything, nor would I ever tell anyone else to use them. Owner gave me a quote. When we met, he raised the quote by $400. He told me it would only take a few hours to complete. He left the job and I had to get a hold of him three days later to find out why it wasn't finished. He had a family emergency that took him out of town. He didn't inform me until I got in touch with him. He was supposed to come back and fix the job and he had a motorcycle accident. Someone stole a section of the fence because the posts were never cemented into the ground. They said someone had altered the fence so they wouldn't touch it. I asked them to stain my privacy fence. They painted half of it purple and left it. The owner sent me a message and said I needed a whole new fence and he could take care of it "for only a few hundred dollars more". I told him I wasn't paying any more. Two days later, the entire fence was stolen including the gate that was hidden quite well in the back yard. Owner conceded to installing the fence if I purchased all new materials. I purchased all new materials and couldn't get a hold of him. He finally reached out to me and told me that he had buried his wife. I sent condolences and offered him time to get with me. Never heard from him again. Hi Mr. Goff,
I know you indicated that you would call me when the job was completed and that you thought it would be done on Saturday. Since I didn't hear from you on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, I went by the house on Monday evening to check on the progress. Please give me an update on when you think the job will be completed. I noted the following as still needing to be done:
1. Finish fence on west end to tie to the neighbor's fence. I'm sure you recall in our discussion that I wanted the fence to go all the way back to the neighbor's fence and tie to their corner.
2. Install the gate at the front.
3. Install the top pole of the fence along it's entirety.
4. Stain the rest of the privacy fence. Please do not allow your team to use that purple color on the outside of the fence. I know we did not discuss it; but I assumed it would be a natural color of stain that would be used.
I am sure that all of this is probably already on your list; but I wanted to make sure we are on the same page before your team finishes the job. I was okay with the increase in your estimate and the additional $400. I just want the job completed with a level of excellence that I believe your company stands for.

Thank you so much for letting me know about Mr. Goff's situation. I pray that he will be okay and heal quickly. Please feel free to call me (502-762-7354). I am available all day Sunday and Monday after noon to talk. I am very sympathetic to Mr. Goff's trials that he is going through these days; but I certainly want to finish up my project with the company as soon as possible. Below, I am copying a correspondence that I recently had with Mr. Goff outlining the things that still need to be finished. To that, I would also like to add that I am unhappy with how the corners were completed on the job. I don't know if Mr. Goff was present or not when that portion was completed; but rather than start a new section on both sides of the corner pole, the workers just wrapped the chain link around the corners. It does not look good and I'm sure Mr. Goff would not be happy with poor quality work. You will also see in my copied email that I am really not happy with the decision to paint the inside of my fence purple. It was probably a color that was left over from a previous job; but when I asked for my fence to be stained; while we did not specifically talk about color, I assumed it would, at least, be a natural stain color. Please call me so that we can put closure to this job. I am going to drop by the house either today or early in the morning. I will take some pictures and email them to you for your records. As mentioned, here is my previous communication:

my father has filed plenty of before and after pictures of your property I am aware of the issues with your fence. It still needs to the expended approximately 50 to 60 feet. also tension bars need to be put up at the corners. but please feel free to send any pictures that you think would be helpful. I already have a team in place ready to finish your property per my father's instructions.

I respect that you felt the need to apologize; but I did not consider your previous email disrespectful in any way. I was not sure how much Mr. Goff had informed you of the project and I am glad that he has kept you in the loop. I just wanted to make sure we were on the same page.
I hope your father was not too badly injured in the accident. Right at the same time that I received your original email, I was watching the news and they were talking about a motorcycle fatality; but they did not release a name. I started checking the Internet because I was afraid that this had happened to him.
I'm already aware of all the heartbreak with his wife. It seems like the trials of Job are upon your family right now.
