Aaron & Quinn arrived on time for my contracted job of moving a heavy credenza 1-1/2 mikes from my daughter’s home to my garden home. My kid asked to take advantage of my moving team by having them clear stuff from her garage to her basement, a task which Aaron & Quinn readily accepted and quickly completed even though that job entailed removing two doors and later reattaching them. I asked if we could stop two houses down the road to also pick up a shelving unit from a friend’s garage. Again, Aaron & Quinn readily agreed to the tagged-on job. Upon arrival at my home, they immediately unplugged my flatscreen TV, moved its cabinet to a guest BR, and placed the newly moved credenza beneath all that re-attattached TV equipment. These guys were PROFESSIONAL, EFFICIENT, EXTREMELY ACCOMMODATING, energetic, WORK FOCUSED, but without attitude, showing a sense of humor, and being polite. Their pricing is VERY REASONABLE. At any point, they could’ve said: “You didn’t have this on the schedule/invoice,” or “We’ll have to come back for that job,” but they happily took it all on, and kept a fast pace. Their only two drawbacks are: 1) an ancient-of—days, worn down, gas guzzling truck which doesn’t inspire much confidence (but their travel fee is by mileage and not gas usage), and 2) no “A & J Moving” company advertising on their truck which would be helpful to their business. They had all the equipment they needed inside that truck plus two strong men who obviously enjoy their work! I WILL HIRE THESE TWO GUYS AGAIN, and soon, to help a friend switch out furniture in two rooms. After I hassled and waited to get my friends with a pickup or my church family to help move my stuff, scheduling with A & J Moving (through Thumbtack) is definitely the company to use and the way to get the job done. AJ and Warren were amazing. They left things better than when they started. Got my bed to raise, my desk shelf on, my dresser not to tilt. They worked so hard on a very rainy day.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Travel Fee is included in every job of $.55 per mile from my location and back from drop-off location, also stairs fee of $40. All sales on labor is final.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I simply ask how many bedrooms, how far it's moving, and date needing to be moved. After these factors I can estimate a price .
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm just getting started on the business end of it, but I've got alot of experience moving and travelling.
