Introduction
Hey what’s up everyone , my name is Josh Lucas and I’ve been a Personal Trainer in Louisville Kentucky for a little over 12 years now. I am also a Certified Weight Management Specialist with The American Council of Exercise (ACE). My setup is unique in that I have converted a small house into a Private Personal Training studio. I’ve been training here since September 2021. It’s a really cool spot and and my clients enjoy the privacy of it. (They also enjoy that I have ZERO overhead, so I can afford to make my rates more affordable than most Trainers who work in a gym) I generally work with beginner and intermediate clients looking to build muscle, lose weight, or both. My core passion is working with clients that have little or no experience with weightlifting. I really enjoy helping people begin to value the importance of it above all other forms of exercise. Simply helping the beginner feel comfortable in a weightlifting setting, enabling them to enjoy working out, lifting heavy weights, feeling powerful, getting strong, building muscle and curves that they’ve never had before is the best part of my job. Initially everything is about accountability and consistency. With my more experienced clients, I love showing them how following a more advanced weightlifting program personalized to fit their body, and their goals, can take them to the next level. My true goal is to help people look at exercise realistically and start striving for longevity in health, rather than falling for the quick fix mentality that is so prevalent in the fitness world. No one should ever feel judged when working out. If you are nervous upon arriving to your first session I promise you won’t be for long. We do work hard to get results but I’m no drill sergeant as I don’t believe that’s the type of motivation that is long lasting. I want to teach my clients how to take control of their own fitness journey and eventually leave me behind. The goal is for each client to become self sufficient and lead healthy, active lives! I cannot even begin to explain how happy I have been with Josh Lucas as a personal trainer. He is truly invested in each client that he works with. He digs deep in order to find out what type of training program is best for you and your body. He really works hard to find out the best way to get you the results you want whether it's muscle gains or weight loss or even toning and strength in general. I've been training with him for about a year and I'm so happy with my results! I've already gained a few pounds of muscle in all the right places. I can't wait to see more results in the future!

I have been searching for an affordable, flexible, and effective trainer in Louisville for years, and I couldn't be more relieved that I finally stumbled upon Josh. His eagerness and dedication to figuring out what Exercise/life plan I needed in order to reach my goals is remarkable. Not to mention his enthusiastic personality make sessions fun and personable I have been training with Josh for 6 months and I am amazed at my results. The physical gains are undoubtedly amazing- down 30 lbs, 3 dress sizes, and significantly more muscle mass (that I thought I could/would never have)! But more importantly, I FEEL healthy and my confidence with my body has improved. Before training with Josh I thought I would never be able to achieve my fitness goals, but now I am convinced that his dedication to my health will help me finally reach those goals!
