- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are many different needs a customer may home when it come to animal care. I am willing to figure out a better price with the customer if needed. If there are additional needs than what is listed below please let me know so I can provide an estimate. Overnight dog boarding (in my home)- $25.00 per night Overnight dog sitting (in owners home)- $30.00 per night During the day daycare (in my home)- $25.00 per day During the day daycare (in owners home)- $20.00 per visit Bath for pet (dogs only)- $50.00 Pick up and drop off (both ways)- $20.00
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Growing up all my aunts and uncles had multiple dogs. You could say I spent the majority of my childhood hanging out with German Shepherds, Dobermans and Cocker Spaniels. The love for animals has stayed with me ever since then. I started off just watching family members pets once I was able to drive. It later turned into more of a job, not just a favor and I was helping many friends and family members.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
To find a pet lover. Find someone who will spend time with your pet, take them on walks and have play time. Someone that isn't afraid to get on the floor to play with them. This helps the animal feel more comfortable and helps to ensure that the sitter is taking great care of your pets!
