OH MY GOSH.. where do i begin... well, 2015 i built my home and less than a year later 2016 the great flood came through.. 2 contractors came in stole over 10 grand in supplies and money and i thought being a widowed mother of teenagers that i was screwed.. THEN.. Millennium Construction comes into my life....i had to live and go to work while construction was going on.. at first i was hesitant leaving my home open to strangers but in just a few days i saw their work ethic and honesty compassion and loyalty to their jobs.. i was floored and amazed at the men and women working for this company. I came home everyday after a long day as a nurse and didn't have to worry about cleaning up after them.. (they cleaned like they weren't even there, and I'm talking sheetrock, painting, crown molding baseboards, doors the whole kit and kabootle !!!} Even put their trash neatly to the road!!! What contracting company does that???? i wanted to do some upgrades eventually i told them, they said what do you see your home looking like?? i told them and without hesitation, they said "we can do that for you !!! AND THEY DID !!!! I'm so blessed and grateful everyday i wake up to my NEW home being a NEW home again... my kids are happy too that I'm no longer a grumpy momma from stress.. No matter what my home needs in the future, it will be Millennium Construction i go to for the job to be done.. HANDS DOWN !!! God bless them all.. I mean that sincerely !!!

They have been working on our house for over three months now and still have a few weeks to go. It started off bad for me when I found out that Millennium has two contracts. One contract has a 20% over the amount of your ECR and it also has a power of attorney. I did not sign the contract with the 20% clause, thank God, but they tried to tell me I did, Also I was told by a Restore CTA that the contractor can not get a penny over the amount of the ECR, which what they agreed to. As for the power of attorney, its not worth the paper its written on because for a POA to be legal it has to be signed in front of a notary, witnessed by two people and notarized. To me its a bully tatic ! Also, study your ECR , every line, there are thousands of dollars of work they will not do and expect to get paid for anyway. Once again, that isnt happening to me, I have already added almost $7,000 of work they have not and are not going to do

Your father, Our Client by the way has been contacted in regards of your complaints and comments. We dont have any ties to you, other than you telling all the guys working on the field how you lived in South America for a bunch of years and you spoke Spanish fluently I have no idea who you are or what your problem is. Your father has shown all the respect and has directed his concerns and dislikes to me and Restore. He choose Solution 1 and his only complaint was that he wasnt getting cypress cabinets and he choose to keep his old ones which we reinstalled back for him at his request, second there was some spots on the walls(drywall imperfections) which we fixed, your father also requested a type of ceiling fans and got denied by Restore or was kinda on the expensive side of standard lets say and I made it posible for your dad, he also complaint to Restore for not having (heat,exhaust,fan) fan in the bathroom and got one given and I installed it , also got the ceilings painted one coat at no extra charge because I felt that the house needed it and I made it posible at no cost, we filled in many spots on the Tile where we had nothing to do but because it needed it and your dad bought the materials I when ahead and put it down. Your father is a great person and very appreciative Ive never had a bad worth with your dad unlike you that tried to walk around cursing at the personnel just because your the son of house. Please leave my name out of your comments. Ive asked your father to talk to you but he said you were a grown man. So Im asking you kindly to keep your message and remove my name out of it Sir!Ill let the work speak for it self.

Horrible does not even begin to describe it!The craftsmanship is horrible, almost none of the crew speaks English . Would not recommend to anyone. I truly feel that they are only here to take advantage of the restore program and make as much off of others!Fernando, is a piece of work and completely fake.. Great talker, but that's all!!!STAY AWAYLooks like Millenium is a sinking ship!We were told today that Design and Build has severed partnership with Millenium. My father's home is a joke thanks to Fernando. If you lost everything in the flood, don't trust them to be the savior .From what we experienced, there is no way that the other reviews were accurate !Then, please explain why this next week, Another crew is having to come in to correct a lot of mistakes after the final inspection. They were appalled at the quality of the work done . I refuse to be bullied into removing this post! Maybe will spare some other family heartache. And yes, I do speak enough Spanish to know that I was extremely offended by a comment made by a worker onsite.The statement made by the owner is false, Design and Build DID drop them from the program due to many many complaints, To anyone that does not believe how INCOMPETENT their work is, I will be happy to give you a tour of my father's home to prove it.Fernando posted a few select pics that in no way represent how shotty the work was.All of my statements CAN BE VERIFIED. The work performed is already coming apart and had to have another contractor come in to try and fix all of the mistakes. So what if you added an extra light, no way makes up for the below sub-standard work!!!!!!!As far as my father being satisfied, I guess that's why he fought to have Millineum removed and will never allow you on his property. He is in no way satisfied and you never contacted him with any of the concerns. Sheetrock is buckling and ripping the seams due to not enough screws being used. During the project, trash got scattered over the entire property because no dumpster was on site as promised, instead it was piled up for weeks waiting on you to dispose of. Boards with nails sticking out were left everywhere. They even left a water leak damaging other items over a 4 day period. There are not enough words to describe how disgusting your workers left McDonalds bags and other trash throughout the property.

Thank you very much for sharing your feelings about our company, Millennium Construction. Our clients honest opinion helps us streamline and improve our business. We are sorry you feel that way about us. However, we really do strive for customer satisfaction but no matter what we do, we understand we may not be able to please everyone all of the time. Please allow us a few moments to address some of the feelings that you have toward us.
We're not here to "take advantage of the restore program and make as much off of others!" as you may feel. For the amount allotted by Restore LA, the program has designated specific repair items that have to be completed to meet certain guidelines and standards. The quantity and pricing for each repair item (based on economy/standard grade materials) is also determined by the program and as an applicant choosing Solution 1 (state-managed), as your father have done, the payment for the repairs is paid by the prime contractor to Millennium Construction as the subcontractor who completed the repairs. All completed repairs must pass several stages of inspections by Millennium Construction, the prime contractor, and Restore LA before any payment is approved and is released to the prime contractor. Any of repairs that weren't completed, usually due to the homeowners not wanting it done, must be signed off by the homeowner and the payment will be reduced by the amount allotted for work that was waived or not completed. The prime contractor and Millennium Construction do not charge the homeowner anything and the State/Program determines what they will pay for each completed repair item that has passed inspection, nothing more nothing less.
Given the circumstances (demand, available workforce) and given our choices, we along with other contractors do have workers who speak very little English or broken English. That should in no way dictates their skills and work ethics. We have a team of great people that are multi-lingual and some speak and understand English fluently. To avoid any confusion and delays, we always ask that homeowners communicate their concerns with our managers directly so our managers can properly instruct their crews. Homeowners may want work done that are not specified in the SOW (Scope of Work) or they may want things a certain way that will cause confusion for the crews and hinder the construction process.
Your statement regarding our relationship with Design & Build is completely false.
Lastly, your father gave us the impression that he was was content overall given the limitations of going with Solution 1 under the Restore LA program. The Restore LA program denied him a few items and there were items that Restore LA didn't pay for yet we went ahead and made it possible for your father and he was appreciative and pleased.
Fernando posted a response below with pictures. We do hope you have a change of heart and change your review or remove it altogether as it does not accurately reflect our team and our company, Millennium Construction.
