They helped me out a lot. I was scammed by someone pretending to be on Thumbtack and responding to my work request, but it wasn’t from the company I chose and I made the mistake of not asking for confirmation of who I was speaking to when they text me. I will not make that mistake again and the pretend movers lead me on the day of the move and then ended up never showing up. Abba came on the next day although they were booked up and helped us move into our new home. They were so polite and professional and got the job done quickly and easily! I would definitely recommend them and will use them every time I can!

We were moving from our apartment to a home just a few miles away. The guys were very professional and quick! They loaded all our boxes and furniture in under 2 hours. They were a few minutes late. However, they called me and told me they were running behind and arrived when they said they would when they called. I was very impressed by the professionalism and overall politeness of the crew. Everything arrived intact and they placed everything exactly where I needed it to go. They helped me get our beds back together so I didn't have to fuss with the mattresses by myself. I would highly recommend them and will use them again if we move within the area.

We had agreed on 3 movers but instead only 2 were available, this wasn't an issue as the guys worked fast. Since we were still packing the day of the move I think that 3 movers may have gotten ahead of our packing efforts. The guys were great and worked very hard with only a very short break for lunch. Communication with Nick was excellent. Would recommend.

The guys from Abba were great - David and Brandon did both load and unload. It was a pleasure to deal with them and Nick. I would not use Smooth Transitions to pack though.

The movers were great! I've had some horrible moving experiences before, and this made me less leery of the experience. Nick coordinated everything and was very kind and considerate of us wanting to stay within budget. The guys who came on the moving day were brothers and also very nice, professional and friendly. They had all the necessary moving equipment, blankets, etc. The guys were very careful with our furniture and got everything done in exactly two hours. Would definitely recommend to anyone and hire again.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We encourage all of our prospective customers to google "abba movers" and visit our website. This will allow them to learn more about our company and hear what people have to say about our work.
Prospective customers can then put their information in on our site to receive an instant quote which will be sent directly to their email address. Once approved, customers can book their move online, and they'll receive an email confirming their scheduled move! Customers may also give us a call if they have more questions or would rather schedule their move over the phone.
It is very important to us that we answer all of our customers' questions as much as possible because moving can be extremely stressful. This is why we have outlined specific information such as "what to expect during and after your move" in their confirmation email.
Once the customer is booked, they can rest assured that they made the best decision for their move and the only other thing they have to do is relax, and "Let Abba Carry the Stress of their move!"
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 9 years of experience in the moving industry and have completed large corporate job to studio apartment moves, and everything in between. To stay current in the moving industry, I read newsletters from the AMSA and AMLPA. I also research new techniques and equipment monthly on the internet.
