I finally found the perfect local handyman. I've had several bad experiences in the past year with handymen and they left me with unfinished projects, so I was hesitant to try again....glad I did! Pierre far exceeded my expectations. He was very experienced with all my unfinished projects. Even more impressive was that he finished them ALL (and 2 more) within about 4 hours....not 2 days! And he quoted me by the job, not the hour, which is what I prefer. (Pierre had to come see the projects before he made his very reasonable offer. That's understandable) He has all the equipment to set up that makes his work quick, but accurate. His work does show his professionalism and he is a pleasant person. He has the experience to take a piece of moulding that doesn't fit and make it look like it does.....to my approval. He stands out from others because he gave me a couple of options on how to save unnecessary $ on labor, but get the same result. It works! Looks great! He saved me a lot of money and time, and I got the results I wanted. After I saw how efficient he was, I started making a list of much bigger home improvements (which he is more used to doing). I handed it to him before he walked out the door. Don't let his humble profile deter you. You don't need to look any futher. Thank you, Pierre, and thank you, Thumtack!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet the person and observe the project in person. A quote is submitted and within a couple of days to a week l, the project is started!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every job is a learning experience! I'm always open to suggestions on how to get a job done right. I often work with a building contractor to pick up tips on any job that I might need in the future.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
This is a secondary job that I love doing; a complete change of pace for me!
