I have no idea where to even begin... this has been a disaster from the start. House not prepped well and paint chips are now embedded in the new paint because they sprayed over peeling paint. Overspray on EVERYTHING including my roof, pavers, plants, gate, and expensive front door lockset (which was ruined). I am having to hire contractor to fix the damage to my front door as, since "painted" by this company, will no longer close correctly and lockset ruined. They tried to pressure wash the overspray from my pavers and washed away the packed sand under them so they are now all loose. Paint is already coming off my porch steps. They left my dog yard gate open everyday they were here. Also had to remove trash from my yard everyday that they were here.I started with a peeling house and I still have a peeling house. Continual platitudes about "making it right." Brad will tell you ANYTHING ("your gate/roof had paint on it when we started") and is not to be trusted. I am 2 months into this nightmare and I am still pulling gobs of peeling paint off of my house. I have talked with a district manager and that did absolutely nothing. Seriously considering an attorney.

Thank you for the feedback, Julia. First we would like to apologize for the issues that you addressed in your review. We had a painter that did not do so well and created some of the problems, and to correct them, we brought in another painter to take care of any problem areas and finish strong. We may have a job or two that does not go according to plan but we work hard to avoid these and keep the customer satisfied, as well as correct any issues that may come up. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We provide a written proposal. You will pay the quoted price at the end unless any approved changes took place. We do not charge tax for the painting but do for materials. We guarantee our pricing for 90 days.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet them in their home or business to conduct the estimate. We provide a proposal in writing along with a copy of our insurance and references. We can help with color choices through a color consultant.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have had CertaPro Painters since 2012. We have painted over 2,000 homes and businesses. Our average painter averages 7 years in the painting industry. We use quality paints like Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore and Farrell Calhoun.
