My original caterer canceled on catering our wedding a month before our wedding date. We were looking for another caterer in our budget and found Cafe' Orleans Catering here on Thumbtack. We were discouraged about losing our caterer but Ms. Sears was so pleasant and helpful. Not only did she give us everything we had on the menu from our previous caterer but from the beginning, she totally understood our situation, taste and vision, and because of this we were completely confident that she would do a wonderful job. She went beyond the call of duty on so many occasions. She was so easy to work with, and she kept us super calm. We so appreciate everything she did to make our wedding beautiful, delicious, and special. Many of our guests commented that the staff was incredibly nice and attentive. We certainly felt taken care of by everyone. Perhaps most importantly, the food was AMAZING! It surpassed our very high expectations. Almost everyone commented to us and our planner that the food was the tastiest wedding food they've ever had. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the presentation was just beautiful (even though Ms. Sears jokingly stated that she needs work on presentation). It was just as beautiful as other caterers presentation. Plus, we were able to eat more food than expected! Our guests are still raving about all three entrees, and I'm sure they will be for a long time to come. The dessert was absolutely incredible. Assorted cheesecakes are probably my favorite thing, and these were the real deal -- on par with the best I've had. Judging by the lines for the dessert buffet, I'm sure no one missed the cake! In the end, Im glad we ended up with a different caterer because she is the best. I am sure she gained several customers and Im working to get her more business. It is the least we can do because we cannot thank her enough!

Ms Shirley was a joy to work with. She was extremely helpful when creating the menu and offered flexibility with creating the menu. She stayed on the phone with me and assisted with working out the details which was a huge help to me. She was extremely attentive to detail and even provided a festively decorated table for the food to match the other decorations.

The guests raved about the food. They loved everything on the menu. We had mini chicken and waffles, veggie muffelatas, veggie shots, shrimp pasta, shrimp and grits shots, fruit display, meatballs, and finger sandwiches. We had a combination of self serve and hand passed items. The server was professional and attentive to the attendees. Numerous compliments were received concerning the food.

They cleaned everything up and leftover the place better than how they found it.

Ms. Sears showed up for our tasting with lots of food for us to try. We had enough food left over for seconds. The food had much flavor and we are super excited about the event and for people to have her food. She came with much professionalism and ready to answer any questions we had. We truely enjoyed her spirit!
