We just welcomed our first dog and first GSD to our family. I knew going into to this that our dog would be a high intensity dog. But I wanted a dog and specifically a GSD to protect us should the situation ever arise. But not having a dog in over 30 years came with some challenges when it came to training. I researched several trainers in the area and even considered bringing him back to the breeder that we purchased him from for training. But I found Brooke and Victoria with The Dog School. After reading the other reviews, I felt comfortable that they could handle a high intensity dog like mine. And I was right! After our GSD spent 6 days with them, he came home a totally different dog. I was so impressed with how well behaved and trained he was. I really couldnt believe it! Before, I couldnt even enjoy a walk with him. I also couldnt get him to stop jumping on me and others. And for the life of me I couldnt get him to come when I called him. But Brooke and Victoria know what they are doing. And I am so glad that I did my research and picked them over so many other trainers I could have gone with. Thank you ladies! And Wyatt cant wait to spend time with you again for daycare when you get into your new location!

Exceptionally trainers and educators!!! Brooke DeFore, the owner of The Dog School, and her additional trainers, Amanda and Victoria, are true professionals. Our family was easily able to transition our springer spaniels from the training program at The Dog School into our everyday home life. I wish we had known about their puppy program to start their training earlier!!! Best investment we have ever made making our pets a true joy to be around for us and our family and friends.

Our 11 month old dog did great learning commands and manners! The staff sent us videos daily (he seemed like he was having a great time with the other dogs) and at pickup the trainer reviewed commands with us and techniques to keep up with at home. Our trainer was helpful and answered all of our questions.
