My daughter enjoyed her first lesson! We will continue guitar lessons with Brandon.Feb 8, 2018Verified
Brandon was friendly from the start and I immediately felt comfortable working with him. He helped address some technical problems I had picked up during self-study and then went through ideas for future study and skills to work on for our next lesson. He responds quickly through text and has been happy to supply extra materials and answer questions I have.Aug 5, 2018Verified
He did a great job getting my nine year old excited about the guitarOct 26, 2017Verified
Brandon is a very talented guitarist who is dedicated and patient with his students. Comes well prepared with lesson plans but is also flexible to best meet your needs so you get the most out of your session. He emails you recordings to help you practice afterwards. 100% recommend.Sep 11, 2017
Excellent lessons. Still stick with me to this day.Aug 31, 2019Verified
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We must talk about goals first! We need to determine exactly what you want to sound like and develop a game plan on how to pursue that. I will do my best to guide you in this process and get you sounding the best you can be!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am an alumni of the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts (NOCCA), where I studied jazz with Michael Pellera, Kari Lee, Chris Severin, and virtuoso guitarist Davy Mooney. I spent a year at the University of New Orleans (UNO), studying jazz under the tutelage of some of the city's greatest guitarists and educators including Hank Mackie and Steve Masakowski. I am currently studying classical guitar from Dr. Kerry Alt and Dr. Jay Kacherski at Loyola University New Orleans, where I am also a music composition major studying the art of film scoring.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I have worked with kids, seniors, and everyone in between! All ages and levels are welcomed.
