Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Get in touch and I'll get it together. 27 years experience in furniture restoration and art installation. I began in-home assembly of furniture and shelf/art/mirror mounting to offset my income during slow season and found that I really enjoy it. I'm practiced and efficient at deciphering instructions and have never failed to complete a project. I'm organized, tidy, and much less expensive than assembly services provided by Amazon, Wayfair, Ikea or the like. I've learned how to navigate customer service when parts are missing or broken on arrival. I've even secured refunds for customers and then fixed the furniture in my shop so it could still be used and feel brand new. My rates reflect my ability, skill, and integrity. I don't adjust my rates to fit skinny budgets. There's no shortage of less experienced people with lower rates and I encourage you to contact someone who really needs the work if you're low on funds. Thanks for reading, hope to hear from you soon.

Choux was on time and very friendly! He took care to make sure he answered all my questions thoroughly. He was obviously very skilled and I would definitely have him work in my house again!

Finding capable, responsive and thoughtful help is really hard to find. Choriko "Choux" exemplifies all of these qualities. I've hired him a number of times for odd jobs around my studio. He not only does the job thoroughly and quickly but he is communicative and creative about coming up with solutions which is so valuable as an artist and business woman on a budget. I appreciate how efficiently he works while also being unobtrusive so I am able to focus on my work while he is there making odd jobs go away and helping me streamline production. He has been invaluable to me and I will continue to work with him again and again.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

The estimates provided are for each piece of furniture or up to 1.5 hours of work. I do not assemble multiple peices for $100. Thumbtack charges lead fees to advertise here and rates reflect that cost plus travel. Thank you.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

20 years of experience in furniture restoration. 27 years of experience in carpentry/art installation. A lifetime of experience in following written instructions and completing projects of various difficulties.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hire within your budget and make sure you provide reviews for people who meet or exceed your expectations (or the opposite) so that providers at every tier are more accurately represented on this platform.
