Introduction: We are not a gym. We proudly focus on private fitness sessions. Our training and experience is used to create personally designed fitness protocols that allow the client to expand their understanding of proper movement. K² Body Sculpting aims to teach you to move as freely as you once did by concentrating on improving every client's ability to control their body, rather than just building strength and power. Once you improve your ability to move then conditioning can begin with minimal risk of injury. Becoming physically active is a personal process that is different for each individual. Thomas, M.S., B.A., ACSM EP-C, SFGII, BLS: "Most of us were not and never will be athletes and, in knowing this, do not need to be trained in that fashion. I love being able to help guide a client's path to personal change. I myself was overweight in my teens, so showing others how to take charge of their body is a true passion of mine. James is passionate about what he does. He is not concerned with a chic looking facility, but rather focuses on having all the right equipment needed to help his clients transform their bodies. The most important tool he has is his own education and training. As an aside, I will say that I was very impressed with his description of the very complex, scientific and technical approach he used to explain to his contractor the weight capacity needed for the pipes holding his straps.

My boyfriend and I are really loving working with James! He's great about tailoring workouts to fit each of our fitness levels, and he is really encouraging. He is not one of those trainers who is going to make you feel bad about your current level of fitness, which I appreciate. He really emphasizes proper form and body movement, so I'm not worried that I'm going to hurt myself. All in all, it's been a super positive experience so far, and we're going to stick with him for the long haul.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Individual sessions: Fitness $60, Martial Arts/Self Defense $35, movement training $35 Discounts are available for all types of training depending on: number of sessions purchased, frequency, group size, client referrals. Always willing to deal for those who are willing to work.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    We meet for an initial consultation interview in which we talk about: goal, current fitness levels, stress, medications, activity history, surgeries etc. This meeting also give me time to introduce myself and we can then discuss/create a plan of actions that is in line with your goals.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
