Kyri is amazing! We had little confidence when we arrived, and she helped us to understand what we were doing and loosen up. She is so enthusiastic and high-energy, while somehow also exuding calm and assurance. The dance studio is great, she introduced us to an owner and other instructors, and everyone was extremely welcoming. After our first lesson we have chosen her as our permanent instructor for our wedding dance. Wish I could give 50 stars.

About

I teach piano, belly dancing, Mandrin Chinese and middle school math. I had passed Praxis 2 exam of middle school math in 2008 and Praxis 2 exam of elementary school in 2014. The ETS offered a prize of score of excellence of my test score of Praxis 2- 5014 exam. I also completed teaching certification courses of iteachLouisiana. I received my bachelor's degree in Chinese Literature from Huafan University in Taipei, Taiwan. I also received my certification to teach Chinese as a second language from Fo Guang University. I received my master's degree in Instructional Technology from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. I have worked for academic organizations and schools for five years in both Taiwan and the USA. In the past year, I had taught Mandarin Chinese for middle school and math for high school students. I think that I would be a good fit for your School because of my training and experience teaching Math and Chinese. Meanwhile, I had practiced piano since four years old and had passed YAMAHA's certification. I had played piano for my church in Taiwan since 12 years old and also play for Evangelical Formosan Church of New Orleans since November 2014.

One of our clients envisioned a Phantom of the Opera style performance for a debutante ball. We were able to turn the entire into a living artistry from the movie scene and it was phenomenal!

About

Christine Morris, s native of New Orleans, has been an instructor of Argentine tango for 3 years. Her passion started after attending a tango class in Mandeville. After that first lesson, she was immediately captivated by the music, culture and the local, national and international tango community. Determined to better understand the techniques and emotions of this beautiful dance, Christine has worked diligently with Ector Gutierrez, a local instructor and a leader of the New Orleans tango community. Christine has traveled nationally and internationally to tango festivals and workshops to learn from some of the best tango masters. Christine continues to fulfill her passion for Argentine tango by organizing events and teaching private lessons, group classes and workshops in New Orleans, the Northshore and Baton Rouge. One of her favorite quotes is, "Please, just for me, forget the steps. Hold me, feel the music, and give me your soul. Then, I can give you mine."

My daughter takes weekly ballet classes from Heather. Since starting, her technique and confidence with ballet has improved noticably. Heather teaches classical technique and adds modern elements that my daughter loves. I highly recommend her classes!
