He did an excellent job. I had a very difficult old garbage disposal that hadn’t worked in eight years. We were going to purchase a new one. He went to the store twice and came back and those didn’t work and he ended up repairing my original one. It took three hours, but I was more than willing to pay the fee and I would use him again.

I never write reviews, but I’m making an exception for Jesse because he absolutely earned it. Our freezer started making a loud buzzing noise and eventually stopped cooling properly. Another company diagnosed it as a major repair approaching $2,000. Before moving forward, I decided to get a second opinion from Jesse — and I’m incredibly glad I did. He opened up the evaporator section, found the fan trapped in heavy ice buildup, carefully thawed and cleaned everything, tested the system thoroughly, and got the freezer back to normal operation. What impressed me most was how honest and thoughtful he was throughout the process. We talked about treating people the way we’d want to be treated, and that’s exactly how he approached the job. He explained everything clearly, never pushed unnecessary repairs, and genuinely cared about solving the actual problem instead of selling work that wasn’t needed. He was incredibly personable and down to earth — honestly rare to find in any service business. This second opinion saved me a tremendous amount of money, and I’ll absolutely call JM Repair first for any future appliance issue.

Had an urgent refrigerator issue at one of our rental properties. I needed an appliance tech, so I looked through Thumbtack and came across JM Repair. I read through his reviews on here and also checked his Google reviews just to double check. I reached out to him and he gave me a call right away to schedule an appointment for the next morning. He was also able to quickly fix another unrelated appliance issue in the apartment while he was examining the refrigerator. I will definitely save his number just in case I have any future appliance issues
