Fantastic! I had been trying to DIY the installation of an IKEA bathroom sink and had gotten as far as I could on my new homeowner skills. The snag was connecting IKEA's supplied drain pipes to proper American plumbing. Eric came in on short notice, late at night, and was kind enough to teach me a few plumbing tricks along the way - which was absolutely what I needed! Pleasure to work with and happy to hire again.
Steve hung 4 interior doors, built us french doors for our closet, re-caulked our tub, and put a cat door into a cabinet. He was a very nice guy, explained each step of the project carefully when he encountered unexpected problems, and worked hard for the entire time he was at our home. The tub looked great after re-caulking. The TV was hung very professionally and he even offered to hide the cords in he wall (unfortunately we ran out of time to complete this). Uneven walls in our house caused problems hanging the doors--which led to the total project taking much more time than estimated and left the door projects not completely finished. Despite the problems, Steve stayed late to get the doors to a point where we could buy parts and finish the job ourselves. Traffic problems also led to slow starts on several days and we ending up having two initial visits before any work was started. A few small tasks included in his quote were not able to be finished after 4 visits. However the quality of the work he did finish was good.
Neil was such a pleasure to work with. He is super responsive. Every message I sent was responded to within about 20 min. He was helpful in guiding me as to what to purchase. I hired him to install lights, bathroom exhaust, fix a hole in the wall, fix windows that won't stay open and fix draft coming in our front door. He showed up on time. He even walked me through how to wire a ceiling light b/c I wanted to learn. He has to come back b/c the ceiling exhaust fan I purchased didn't fit right and he even offered to pick up one he knows will work and is coming back. He was such a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend his services!
Ben was very friendly and responsive. He helped me install the glass door for the shower. The glass door is really really heavy so I was really concerned that he is coming alone and doing the job all by himself. But his price was irresistible and his availability also matches mine perfectly. Nonetheless, he showed up early and finished the job very nicely. He also cleaned up the dusts after he finished. I am very happy how it turned out. Highly recommend Ben.
Almeida was great guy. Very fast, professional, responsive, expert at not only tile work but also fixed our heat baseboard, she'd door work, minor paint jobs and few other things around the house in quick time and within budget. I would highly recommend him to everyone.
Kyle did several things; put up two bird houses, installed units on the outside of my house to hold hoses, installed door knobs, replaced broken handles on pantry cabinets, repaired utensil draw that was broken/droped down, fixed two radiator covers that kept falling off, fixed another cabinet door and fixed my toilet. He was so nice, professional and he did an wonderful job. Best handyman ever.
Boston Best Construction was great to work with. They did a complete reno of the first and second floor of our new home - a mid-18th century first period colonial. Eduardo and his team did everything including structural work, a complete remodel of our kitchen and bathrooms, HVAC work, and refinishing our historic wide pine flooring. He and his company were professional, delivered on their timelines, and we love our newly renovated home. Couldn’t be happier.
.RMPaolino Construction was contracted to remodel my unfinished basement and install baseboard heat throughout my house. Mr. Paolino and his team did an outstanding job planning and accomplishing this difficult job. The work was scheduled so that it caused me very little inconvenience and all phases of the job were completed on schedule. All of the work and construction materials were of professional grade, and the overall price tag was more than reasonable. I intend to hire Mr. Paolino to do other work on my property. Because my house is 114 years old, many adjustments and accommodations had to be made in order to accomplish everything I wanted. Nevertheless, Mr. Paolino worked around all of the obstacles and got everything done that I requested. And it looks great. I highly recommend his services. The overall project included the items listed below. 1. Cleared the basement of all junk and debris. 2. Removed the old boiler from the basement and 12 radiators and pipes throughout the house. 3. Removed all of the old steam piping, old excess electrical wires and unused gas lines running through the basement. 4. Removed all artificial walls, ceilings and floors throughout the basement. 5. Installed a brand new modern boiler and enclosed it with walls with sliding doors for access. 6. Installed baseboard heaters throughout the three-story house. 7. Replaced numerous copper water pipes with fiberglass pipes and insulated the copper piping that was not replaced. 8. Replaced seven basement windows with new windows. 9. Restored the worn brick walls of the basement 10. Framed the entire basement and installed insulation. 11. Installed and painted dry wall throughout the basement. 12. The electrical circuit box was replaced and electrical and cable ready outlets were installed all around the walls. The electrical circuit breaker, gas meter and water meter were enclosed in a small room with an access door. 13. A utility area was created on a raised platform where a washer, dryer, and sink were installed. 14. The basement floor was covered with an industrial strength carpet. 15. A drop ceiling with large panels with embedded florescent lights was installed.
Daniel, James, and Dennis were incredible. Daniel came in to take in the measurements, estimate project scope, and give us pricing estimates and we could tell that he knew his trade very well because he came up with great recommendations just by looking at our floor. The work was not only done really quickly but all the workers were wonderful and friendly, and great to have a conversation with. Bonus: Señor Ortega gave us a discount and James and Dennis re-attached bathroom fixtures for us.
I needed some finish work done in my basement: replacing damaged basement window and installing closet doors. Barry did a great job researching different selections for these items, so that I could make the best choice. Then, he installed them very promptly and efficiently. Would definitely hire him again.
We had a pipe that ended up leaking in a pipe in our shower. So needless to say the wall collapsed due to the damage. Not only did he assist us in getting someone here ASAP to fix the pipe, but he and his coworker then came in and put up the new tile in my shower and did it in only 2 days right away so we wouldn't have to go without a shower. We were able with his help to put up some plastic so we could use the shower while the grout dried. His prices are great and the job was done extremely fast to make things very easy for my entire family. I couldn't have asked for a better contractor. I was very comfortable leaving the both of them alone in my home while they did the work that needed to be done. I have dealt with many contractors, and they not only did an amazing job, but made sure we knew what was happening every step of the way. Very highly recommended.
I had an entryway door installed and a new bathroom, I found the work was completed in a professional manner as well as on time, it was a clean work area and they picked up every day so we were not inconvenienced, I have to say the job came out even better than we thought
Adonias was very easy to work with. He is friendly, creative, and flexible. He has a very busy company, so sometimes my projects took longer than expected, but he is good about communicating. Eagle7 remodeled two bathrooms for me (I will upload pictures after I finish cleaning and organizing them). They took out two fiberglass shower/tub units, built a new tub with tile surround and a tiled walk-in shower with glass door. They replaced sinks and countertops, replaced flooring (tile in one, vinyl plank in the other), repaired some plumbing, replaced fan/light combos, and built out walls where needed. In addition, Adonias and his crew helped with a few extra requests as they came up, without complaint. We were updating most of our house this month, so there were many contractors in and out, a dog, kids, and general chaos. The crew took it all in stride, they were patient and worked around our schedule. Prices were very reasonable, and they worked with me to think through what could be salvaged/reused to minimize costs. Adonias also sourced materials as needed, not overbuying or upcharging. Highly recommend Eagle7.
We hired Steve to fix some loose tiles and grouting in our custom tiled shower. He was very knowledgable on the best way to fix the underlying issues that were causing the loose tiles, fixed those problems and left the shower better than we expected. He also left the job site clean every day and was a pleasure to work with. We would not hesitate to hire Steve again.
Mr. Stewart is very good at listening to what you want and also has a good eye for arrangement and style in a room. He takes Special pride in his workmanship and making sure it is done Properly.. Our bathroom was done by Mr. Stewart 2 years ago And it still beautiful. He just did a brand new kitchen for us.. Cabinets, flooring, back splash tiling...which he is especially good At. He also did our sunroom a few years ago. Installing Glass door way and windows... Wainscoting was installed at his Recommendation and it came out beautiful.. 💕 Mr. Stewart’s Price for his work is reasonable and far less than any estimate we got from others! Larry and Gerry Shusta
Julian is very knowledgeable and offered a lot of great suggestions as there are many ways to design shower doors. He really thinks about your priorities and budget and comes up with a great plan. Highly recommend him for high quality frameless glass shower doors.
This Past summer I contracted Keystone Carpentry to remove and install a new Exterior door. The work was done quickly and with accuracy. Based on that work, I added additional work and the craftsmanship was more than I expected. I have contracted Keystone carpentry in the past ans will continue to use the other projects come up.
Cesar did a great job tiling my shower. Very professional and accommodating to my needs. Will hire again
I am 79 years old and have had a few repairs done to my house but Chad Johanson is by far the nicest.most affordable, and most caring handyman I've ever had. Chad's #1 goal is to make sure you are happy when he leaves. I signed a contract for $1325.00 to have my shower tile replaced and taken away and to cut 4 closet doors that were too long after new carpet. Chad came up with an idea on my shower to save money as I am very looking to spend as little as possible which I went along with and the new estimate is $625.00 less then original job. His work is great and I will use him again in the spring to repair my deck. You will not go wrong with Chad Johanson.
Tom Omar & son did an excellent job replacing two toilets, hardware for both showers, and oversaw the installations of two bathroom floors. Timely, reasonably-prices and professionally done. Mostly highly recommended
Mike installed our new shower door. Its gorgeous! His price was better than all the companies we compared him to. He is quick, professional, and does quality work. He even pointed out something about our shower door that nobody else had mentioned. He cares about his work and his customers! Highly recommended.
