FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is straightforward and based on the type of wedding support you need, whether that is officiating, ceremony writing, vow help, rehearsal support, wedding coordination, or more involved planning support. I always want couples to know what they are paying for before they book, so there are no awkward surprises later. For officiating, pricing starts at $400. For coordination, pricing starts at $1,200 and depends on guest count, location, setup needs, vendor communication, timeline needs, rehearsal needs, and how much support you want before and during the wedding day. For planning, pricing depends on how far out your wedding is, how much has already been booked, whether you need help with vendor selection, venue guidance, design/theme direction, timeline development, logistics, and overall planning support. Smaller planning support packages may start around $1,500, while more involved partial or full planning packages are quoted based on the scope of the wedding.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to keep the process easy and personal. Once you reach out, I’ll confirm the basic details: your date, location, guest count, and what kind of support you are looking for. From there, I’ll let you know what package or service makes the most sense. For officiating, I’ll usually send over a questionnaire so I can learn more about you, your relationship, and the kind of ceremony you want. Some couples want something short and simple, while others want a ceremony that feels very personal and story-based. I can help with vows, readings, ceremony flow, and making sure everything feels natural. For coordination, we’ll go over what you have planned so far, what still feels stressful, your vendor team, timeline, ceremony flow, setup needs, and any moving pieces that need to be handled. My goal is to step in calmly, organize the final details, and help make the day feel smoother for you and your people. For planning, we’ll take a bigger-picture look at where you are in the process. That may include your venue search, vendor needs, budget priorities, design ideas, guest count, timeline, and what decisions still need to be made. Whether you need help from the beginning or you are partway through and feeling overwhelmed, I’ll help create a plan that makes the process feel more manageable.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 7 years of hands-on wedding experience and have officiated over 600 ceremonies, from small elopements to large, traditional weddings. That experience has taught me what actually happens on wedding days, not just what people think should happen on paper. I’m also an ordained minister and a career paralegal, so I bring a strong background in organization, communication, detail management, and staying calm under pressure. Weddings involve a lot of emotion, timing, paperwork, family dynamics, vendor communication, decisions, and last-minute changes. I’m used to handling important moments carefully and professionally. Most of what makes me good at this work comes from real wedding experience. I’ve seen what helps a ceremony flow well, what causes delays, what couples tend to forget, how vendors work together, and how much of a difference it makes to have someone steady and prepared there on the day.
