Introduction: I like getting very detailed about a mix. Finding the right placement for every element so everything can be heard. There is so much that can be done to improve a recording in the mix stage and I love getting in there and working all the elements of a production. I can spend many hours honing a piece, but I do know how to stick within a budget and timeframe so I rarely go over budget.

Interview him to see how he interacts with you, you want to be able to get what you are looking for not what he is looking for.
