Ally's Dog Walking

Introduction: I am currently a college student in the Fenway area of Boston. I have a lot of experience with dogs as I have been a trained volunteer at a nonprofit organization for over a year. My responsibilities in this position range from teaching dogs to sit for a cookie while they are in their kennels to feeding them at mealtimes and walking them using training and management techniques that are safe and kind as they wait to be adopted by their new owners. The dogs I have experience with have many different backgrounds, vary in sizes (from chihuahuas to pit bulls) and have various behavior issues. I have also been dog sitting for a 13-year-old black labrador for four years. My volunteering experience has opened up many dog walking and sitting opportunities to me. I had a daily dog walking job last summer with a two-year-old terrier mix (from Mondays-Fridays, one-hour walks), and I currently have a temporary dog walking position for a two-year-old chihuahua. I have my own dog at home with my parents so I understand the importance of having the right people around your pets, and I can be that person for you. I am reliable and honest, and I love dogs.
