The 3 movers arrived 5 minutes early. They handled all packages and furniture wirh care! They did not hesitate to take anything and even packed miscellaneous items into boxes efficiently. My boyfriend and I were VERY impressed and grateful for Speedy Movers!

I HIGHLY recommend Speedy Moving Company. They packed and moved household goods from MA to ME. Several mirrors, antiques, big screen tv, etc. Everything was packed with care and delivered promptly. Upon arrival in ME the fragile items were opened & inspected before the crew departed. All were in good form. I've made two international moves and Speedy Moving Co. equals, if not excels those corporate movers. Eric is professional, responsive, polite, easy to work with. His company offers good value for a job well done. Again, can't say enough good things, highly recommend.

Today October 24th, 2020 i used speedy moving company and i cant give them enough credit for how good my experience was with the two movers that came. They were 15 min early worked so hard at a great pace for 5 hours straight without stopping l. They disassembled my home packed the truck and re assembled it at the new home with perfection. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future. Best decision i ever made and the reasonable price for the work they did made it that much better. Thank you speedy. They showed up on time and worked fast, but took great care with our furniture. They were great and I would definitely use again. My only issue was pricing. It was pretty opaque in turns of materials they used, as an example. I didn't know I needed moving blankets to store furniture in pod. If I did, I would have bought myself and not paid $25 a piece. Just an FYI, the cost of materials was about the same as the 2.5 hours on site, which seems pretty high. So just be prepared for what the final cost will be or ask better questions when you are booking them. After speaking with many pros, they were the most professional and I am very glad we hired them, pricing aside.

My mother has recently had knee surgery and is moving out of the family home in the next few months. She needed a lot of help with packing and moving items to the first floor of the house. The two gentlemen who showed up on time were super efficient and treated all her belongings with care. She called to FaceTime me as soon as they’d left to show me all the progress they were able to make in a few short hours. We will definitely be considering them for her eventual final move! Wonderful wonderful job! Couldn’t be happier.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices are always reasonable and thinking about the customer’s budget first. We charge per hour, and require a 3 hour minimum. Travel time is also something we charge for (to and from our office). Our packing supplies are sold separately and only if the customer needs them. No other hidden fees besides the 3% extra when paying with credit/debit cards.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was working for moving companies for more than 5 years. I knew that I had gained the necessary knowledge to open up my own company. I learned what I needed to learn and went on my own.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with a variety of different customers. College students, homeowners, commercial customers and apartment buildings.
