FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Although we offer discounts on a per case basis, depending on the type of events in budgets, and the clients we are working with, our pricing reflects the cost associated with operating at a high-level and having everything in place prior during and post event. Remember besides the people that are day-to-day here in the office, the person that’s going to the event is taking a Saturday or a holiday for example, New Year’s out of their schedule to make sure you have the best day of your life. Their attitude and focus in preparing and executing the tasks involved for success, make all the difference. We want to make sure all of our staff is compensated for taking time away from their lives, and family and putting that time and focus into yours. Also take into consideration, rising cost of software, the latest equipment, travel time set up and post event responsibilities. Remember usually these days happen once in a lifetime and we rarely get a chance for a do over. So getting it right the first time is not a corner we want to cut.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The main thing I want to get across to any client is the feeling that they’re in good hands. There are lots of unforeseen things that could happen, and are not part of the plan. We as the experienced Photobooth company learn from every single experience especially the ones that don’t go smoothly, that’s why we have technicians on standby back up equipment. Extra cords, wires, tape, etc. just in case the unthinkable happens. I once had to let the DJ borrow my laptop to save a wedding lol.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My birthday is on the Fourth of July and in my town. The carnival used to come for two weeks. So as a kid, I couldn’t wait for school to finish so that I could go there and celebrate my two week birthday party, lol. However, it didn’t take long for me to Jump in and begin to get my feet wet at 14 years old learning everything there is to know about set up an operation of such as big spectacle. I started doing custom photos with backgrounds which we printed on coffee, mugs, keychains, banners, and T-shirts. I wasn’t really good at sales so they put me in for the heat press for most of the day.. The rest as they say is history.
